With one of the largest fleets in Canada, we offer rentals of high quality single and double ocean kayaks, stand up paddleboards (SUP), and surf skis that will suit a wide range of paddling styles and experience levels. Our highly acclaimed kayak school offers a wide range of lessons and tours. We are also happy to arrange private group bookings for your family outing, office event or school group. With an emphasis on safety, our rentals, lessons and tours provide you with all the gear that you will need for a great day on the water.

One of the premiere boutique galleries in the Pacific Northwest, The Avenue Gallery, in Victoria, British Columbia, has been showcasing contemporary Canadian fine art since 2002. Sink or Swim Scuba Inc is a PADI 5 star certified scuba dive shop located in Nanaimo, BC. Vancouver Island is rated top 10 for cold water diving, and we are grateful to dive all year round. As a shop, we love helping people explore our waters through scuba diving, and snorkeling. We offer courses, guided dives, as well as equipment sales, servicing, and rental.

The Ladysmith Gallery hosts two art shows a month that are open to the public - a monthly member art show featuring a variety of artworks around a different theme from Vancouver Island and Gulf Island artists; followed by a 10 day guest artist exhibition. The location also features a curated gallery boutique shop with smaller artworks from over 50 artists. The boutique holds seasonal offerings as well. Other events that take place at the Ladysmith Gallery are art pop-ups with interactive art experiences, prestigious art exhibitions such as the biennial Fine Arts Show and late night shopping opportunities during the December season. The Stanley Park Railway is one of Vancouver's most popular attractions, welcoming over 200,000 visitors per year. Situated on a site cleared by Typhoon Freda in 1962, the two kilometer track travels through the forest in iconic Stanley Park. Kids of all ages will enjoy the fun relaxing ride in a replica of Canadian Pacific Railway Engine #374, famous for pulling Canada's first transcontinental passenger train into Vancouver in the late 1880s. The railway hosts events for Easter, Halloween and Christmas and is open for the summer from end-June through Labour Day.
