Family Farm B&B is a hobby farm situated on a lovely 5 acres in the quiet town of Powell River, BC. In the presence of a host, guests can visit with various animals, including chickens, ducks, geese, cows, and goats. There are various free activities for adults and children (depending on season and availability), including goat-milking, cheesemaking, and vegetable gardening. Breakfast is included.

Langara Golf Course is a traditional-style course located on the south slope of Vancouver. Built in 1926 by the Canadian Pacific Railway, the course was redesigned by Canadian Architect Thomas McBroom. The contoured, tree-lined fairways are easy to walk and make this challenging par 71 course appealing to players of all levels.The large rolling greens make scoring a challenge and, with its narrow fairways, accuracy off the tee is paramount. Ainsworth Springs Guest House is 2 one and two bedroom condos directly across from Ainsworth Hot Springs. Each condo over looks the lake with decks, full kitchen, living room, and all the comforts of home. They are also beautifully decorated and reasonably priced.

Continuously occupied for over 4,300 years, Yuquot village became the capital for all 17 tribes of the Nootka Sound region. Known as the Birthplace of BC where first contact with European explorers and traders occurred 250 years ago. Attracted to the security of the harbour, it became known to explorers as Friendly Cove. As a result, Yuquot developed into an important centre of trade and diplomacy, and it was briefly the site of Spains only military establishment in present-day Canada.
