The Ladysmith Gallery hosts two art shows a month that are open to the public - a monthly member art show featuring a variety of artworks around a different theme from Vancouver Island and Gulf Island artists; followed by a 10 day guest artist exhibition. The location also features a curated gallery boutique shop with smaller artworks from over 50 artists. The boutique holds seasonal offerings as well. Other events that take place at the Ladysmith Gallery are art pop-ups with interactive art experiences, prestigious art exhibitions such as the biennial Fine Arts Show and late night shopping opportunities during the December season. Located in the heart of downtown Ladysmith, the Ladysmith Gallery is seconds away from local shopping and restaurants. A not for profit organization under the Arts Council of Ladysmith, it has a strong reputation for the largest and top quality of art from West Coast artists for over 20 years.

Facilities: 34 campsites, 2 group sites, public beach, picnic area, boat launch, hiking trails, pit toilets, hand water pump. There is a 10hp boating restriction on the lake. Location: The best access road is off of Highway 3 about 6km east of Bridesville. Follow Johnstone Creek Road for 25km to the park. It is a maintained gravel road and takes approximately 40 minutes from the highway turnoff. Other access points off of Highway 33 and from OK Falls are not well marked and are unmaintained forestry roads that are not suitable for vehicle traffic. Conkle Lake is a secluded lake in the sub-alpine Kettle Valley area that offers rainbow trout fishing, canoeing, swimming and hiking. Come enjoy the sunshine, sandy beach and pristine views at this out-of-the-way gem! Firewood is available for sale. Open from May Long Weekend through Labour Day.

BC's Original Paddleboard Shop - Across from Kalamalka Beach and at the head of the Okanagan Rail Trail. Kalavida is BC's first paddleboard-focused shop and has played an important role in promoting the sport regionally and nationally. The Retail Shop is full of Paddleboards, gear, surf-inspired clothing, flops and more. The Rental Shop has Bike Rentals (E-Bike & Cruiser) and the largest fleet of paddleboards in the region. Head out for an amazing experience on Kalamalka Lake or Rent a bike for the Okanagan Rail Trail or Kalamalka Provincial Park - or both! Before or after your ride, visit the Rail Trail Cafe and historic Kal Beach Market located right next to the shop.

The Radium Hot Springs Visitor Information Centre is a central hub for information providing directions and advice on places to eat, to stay and to shop as well as activities and recreational opportunities. It performs an interpretive role for the natural, cultural and heritage history of the area. With the assistance from the Kootenay National Park Visitor Information Centre (April-October) the staff at the Radium Hot Springs Visitor Centre provides a wealth of information to visitors to Radium Hot Springs and the entire Columbia Valley. The Wild Pacific Trail is located in Ucluelet and is a seven phase trail system skirting the rugged cliffs and shoreline of the west coast of Vancouver Island. Overlooking Barkley Sound and the Broken Group Islands to the east and the open Pacific Ocean to the south and west, it offers spectacular shoreline panoramas and seaward vistas through ancient cedar and spruce-framed viewing platforms constructed on the best headlands along the route.
