The WOODS on Pender launched in June/July 2015 and has grown to 8 Airstreams, 3 Rustic Cabins, 1 Intech Rover, 9 room WOODS Motel and 5 Bunkie Cabins that are paired with Airstreams. We also have the Coffee + Kitchen farm-to-table restaurant and the newly launched CAMP Store inside Coffee + Kitchen selling provisions. We also have the WOODS Massage Airstream with two full time massage practitioners. Camp Vibes with an authentic camping experience but will all the modern urban amenities like Netflix, digital cable, BOSE sound bars, french press coffee, luxury mattresses, hammocks, fire pits and 10 private hot tubs. We even have a proper whiskey sour to go with your freshly milled sourdough pizza made with locally grown and sourced ingredients.

The Nelson Museum, Archives & Gallery is a multi-faceted organization with a history museum exhibition, regional archives, two contemporary gallery spaces and a fabulous gift shop. The history museum features an introduction to the Sinixt and Ktunaxa nations, culture and perspectives, the history of European exploration and the challenges of trade and travel routes, and how various industries such mining, transportation, hydroelectricity affected the area and the creation of the Queen City. Our galleries rotate exhibitions eight times per year and feature everything from contemporary art and pop culture, to fine craft and design, to local architectural and social history the Nelson Museum's exhibitions connect to this areas creative energy and rich heritage. Operated by the Similkameen Country Development Association, a local non-profit, the Similkameen Visitor Centre provides tourism services for the South Similkameen. Stop by and enjoy our picnic area. We have free WIFI, handicap accessible washrooms, a baby change table, electric charging stations and much more.
