Bethlehem Centre is a cottage-at-the-lake style retreat and conference centre. Ideal for residential groups of 10-40 people, the Centre offers an all-inclusive experience with full meal service and on-site opportunities for quiet reflection and spiritual path-making. Situated on the shores of Westwood Lake at the foot of Mount Benson in Nanaimo, the Centre is a 5-minute walk from a swimming beach, is surrounded by forest, and is connected to miles of hiking trails. The Centre has an outdoor Chartres-style labyrinth, a finger labyrinth museum, a gift shop, a library, an organic vegetable garden and a contained eco-system outdoor pond. We offer world class salmon fishing charters from Quadra Island and Campbell River. The waters surrounding Quadra are known as the Salmon Capital of the World. All five species of salmon can be caught from May thru October. This makes a perfect environment for a successful fishing trip. You will fish in comfort out of a 24ft covered cruiser with marine head (toilet).
