Elevation is comprised of three treatment rooms for massage, facials and body treatments, two pedicure chairs, two manicure stations and two hair stations. Each room has a seating area with a table and lamp, and a desk with comfortable seating. Our rooms also have giant flat screen televisions with remote controls, and complimentary cable television and wi-fi internet access. All our all suites feature exotic hard wood flooring and custom ceramic tile, custom inset lighting and heavy keyless locking doors, independent heating and cooling systems in each unit. We have 24/7 staffs on site with a reception desk, coin operated laundry machines, and well lit covered entrances. Our hallways and parking lot are monitored by multiple cameras, well lit, and secure.

Wild Bear Lodge is a small private wilderness lodge about halfway between Vancouver and Calgary. We are located in the worlds only inland temperate rainforest amid mountains, old-growth trees, and fast-flowing rivers. We believe we offer some of the most exciting and natural bear-viewing, nature and wilderness holidays in north America, against a backdrop of some of western Canadas most dramatic terrain.

Our guest house is located in Rose Harbour, Kunghit Island; very deep within Gwaii Haanas National Park, Marine Reserve and Haida Heritage Site. Only accessible by floatplane! We provide 3 meals a day, offering authentic Thai cuisine being our specialty. We cook mostly with organic food and also from our large garden. Our guesthouse is rustic but comfortable with wood heat, communal shower and composting toilet. We don't have more then 8 guests at the time unless your group is more then 8! Our tour packages include accommodation, meals, and transportation by floatplane to/from Queen Charlotte Village. We also offer optional guided boat tours and sea kayak rentals in the area surrounding our location. Recommended sites to visit by boat are Ninstints/Skanggwaii (UNESCO World Heritage Site), Cape St-James, Rose Inlet, and many others nearby locations. We speak English, French, Thai and Lao. While everyone enjoys the wine and the view when they come to visit, the most asked question would have to be about our name...On a cool spring morning in 1929, a small crew from Okanagan Falls set off to a deserted mining camp some 16 miles away from home. Their mission: to dismantle an old wooden church and bring it back to Okanagan Falls.The plan called for a controlled blast of four dynamite sticks inside the church in order to "loosen the nails". Odd as it may seem, the explosion spared the wood from damage during dismantling.Save for losing the steeple, the plan succeeded. Now the 103 year old wooden church stands proudly in its second home of Okanagan Falls and is still an operating United Church. In keeping with its rather remarkable history, the church has since withstood the threat of two major floods, including the disastrous burst of the Okanagan Falls Dam in the early 1950's.In naming our VQA wines "Blasted Church" we celebrate the ingenuity of the initiative to move the church and honor those pioneers for their vision.
