We are a little farm based in Lantzville (seven minutes north of Nanaimo) on beautiful Vancouver Island, British Columbia. We are Nanaimo area's family destination for fun! Stop by and visit the adorable miniature animals in our petting farm, and peruse the delightful home decor shop on site where you can pick up a t-shirt or a locally made soap! Pick up a farm-grown bee-friendly hanging basket, or bring a picnic lunch to enjoy outside. We offer birthday parties, workshops, and often host concerts. Tidy modern washrooms on site. Lakeside gardens is an old fashioned family style resort, beach, boats, and swings in the trees. we cherish the timeless charm of our one bedroom cedar cottages, overlooking the lawn and beach. Our simple lakeside cabanas are fun, comfortable and inexpensive, and share camp style washrooms

The Silvery Slocan Museum, located in the former Bank of Montreal building on Main Street, has been a fixture in New Denver B.C. for over 100 years. The museum features exhibits about the area's heritage, including its mining, logging and agricultural history, as well as the recently restored Lancet motor launch. Admission is by donation.
