Miracle Beach Provincial Park is a popular oceanside family campground with a popular day-use and beach, conveniently located 22 km north of Courtenay and 22 km south of Campbell River off Hwy 19a. It makes a great home-base while visiting the popular Comox Valley, Campbell River, or for those looking to ferry to nearby islands. Visitors can also find horseback riding, golf, fishing and many other recreational activities in the area. The large family campground is world-renowned and offers 201 non-serviced campsites located under a dense forest canopy. Campers have three flush washroom buildings in the campground as well as a large shower building. Water taps and pit toilets are located throughout the campground. There is also an RV sani-station available to empty waste tanks and to refill water tanks. Campsite reservations are accepted and some first-come first-serve sites are also available.

For some people it is simply paradise, for others the best fly fishing spot in the area, yet others love the tranquility of our cozy resort. Join us in our custom 18ft jet boats and experienced guides. Rods and gear available for use. We look forward to fishing with you! Explore town history with the coming of Alcans aluminum smelter in the 1950s, early valley settlement, and Haisla traditional arts and technology. Additional displays feature regional geology, flora, and fauna. The temporary gallery offers changing exhibitions of arts, culture, and history. Visit the Museum Gift Shop for a variety of decorative gifts including, jewelry, and First Nations design merchandise, local artwork, clothing, and more. Second-floor is accessible via lift.

Crafting your West Coast Wilderness Adventure! Newton Cove Resort is a floating wilderness resort that tailors to the needs of every angler. Luxury accommodation and gourmet meals are included in rates. Located in a secluded cove in Esperanza Inlet close to salmon, halibut, lingcode, rockfish, and tuna grounds. Ideal for corporate groups with the most productive inshore and offshore fishing on Vancouver Island.

BIG Little Science Centre is a fun Hands-On venue for Families. During drop-in times our hands-on rooms are open for visitors to tour at their leisure. The site has approximately 140 stations of hands-on activities to try.

The Hedley Museum is closed for the 2022 season now. Opening again in May of 2023. Opening hours generally include Thursday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday & Mondays 10:00-4:00pm. In 2023 we hope to be open 7 days a week for July and August. A charming heritage museum in the heart of the Similkameen Valley, that shares the towns gold mining history. The building houses a gift shop, tea room and an amazing collection of photos, stories and artifacts. The back garden is shaded and provides a welcome place to sit and enjoy the day. The building is wheel accessible and air conditioned. Admission is by donation and our tour guides will gladly show you around the museum. Also lots of brochures, maps and info for tourists & visitors at the info booth inside the museum.

The Cardiff Miller Art Warehouse in Enderby BC exhibits several large scale sound/ light/ and robotic installations by Janet Cardiff and George Bures Miller. These artworks are installed in the 18,000 sq ft museum situated next to the Shuswap River and North Okanagan Rail Trail. Cardiff and Millers artworks, which are mostly shown internationally, have been greeted with great enthusiasm by thousands of visitors since opening in August 2023..."Must visit if you're in the OkanaganOnce in a lifetime experience!" Currently 10 installations on exhibit.

Our collection includes Parksville's second oldest church, the original Parksville Volunteer Fire Department building, and 2 cabins from Craig's By the Sea Auto Camp. Grounds are open year round and buildings are open starting May 4, 2023 Thursdays through Mondays (closed Tues/Wed) from 11AM - 6PM.
