Established in 2017, Lipont Gallery is devoted to presenting contemporary art by Vancouver-based artists and international artists covering a diverse range of mediums. Our direction is grounded on supporting and highlighting local talent by providing artists with the resources to exhibit work that might otherwise go unrecognized. We are proud to collaborate with a wide range of organizations on exhibitions that enable the integration of diverse voices to broaden the scope of the current contemporary sphere in our community.

Queen Charlotte Lodge defines exciting BC fishing adventures in the Haida Gwaii. Learn about B.C. freshwater fish, recreational fishing and hatchery operations at our self-guided visitor centre. Guided tours and birthday parties can be organized- please contact us for more information. The Visitor Centre is open everyday from 9.00am - 3.00pm. The outdoor fishing ponds are open to the public May 1st to October 31st from dawn to dusk. Pond may be closed to the public during registered programs. Please call ahead to confirm availability.

The Nechako White Sturgeon Conservation Centre hatchery program is dedicated to maintaining genetic diversity and conserving the population of the Nechako White Sturgeon. The hatchery is used to rear sturgeon eggs into one-year old sturgeon for release into the river. Research projects and programs also run out of the hatchery. Visitor Hours: Tours currently available by appointment only. Call the hatchery at 250-567-6673, email nechako@gofishbc.com or email info@nechakowhitesturgeon.org to book.There is an Community Fishing Pond stocked with rainbow trout on-site that is open for public fishing (catch-and-release only) on a drop-in basis. Free rod and tackle gear is available. Adults 16 years+ require a basic fishing licence. The Trout Fishing Pond is open May 1 October 31, dawn to dusk.
