Selkirk Mountain Experience has been listed as a "Best Adventure Travel Company on Earth" by National Geographic Adventure, three times. We are a family owned and operated adventure travel company, based at the Durrand Glacier Chalet, outside Revelstoke BC. This is a remote lodge, accessed by helicopter only. During summer months we offer alpine hiking with over 90 km of trails in a pristine and exclusive setting. Our 18 guests and resident marmots and mountain goats are the only beings using this trail network! In the winter we offer backcountry skiing, in the mecca of alpine powder skiing. Our 96 square km of private tenure offer some of the best skiing on earth, both in the alpine and in the trees. Glades, burns, 30+ summits, 10+ glaciers and the deepest snowpack in the Selkirk Mountains. In addition to the Durrand Glacier Chalet, we have two smaller chalets which we use to do overnight ski trips into the further reaches of our area. All three huts are clean, cozy and beautiful wooden chalets. The Durrand Glacier Chalet is our home base, with 11 private bedrooms and a spacious washroom facility steps from the bedrooms. This facility includes hot running showers, sinks and full indoor plumbing attached to a septic system. We also have a new sauna built in summer 2020 (primarily for winter use). The Durrand has fabulous alpine cuisine, with a private chef and a full staff of friendly, hard-working SME family. The Pinnacle Course at Gallagher's Canyon in Kelowna is an impressive 9-hole, par 32, 1,984-yard executive golf course built to the same exacting standards as the Canyon course. With a variety of tee placements, the Pinnacle's clever design makes it perfect for golfers of any ability; it's challenging enough for beginners to enjoy as they learn the game. Bikes & Bites is a bike repair, bike sales and bike rental business. We also provide a variety of pocket food and drinks for the trail. Bikes & Bites is a Park Tool certified mechanic training shop. We are situated near the entrance to the amazing Valemount Bike Park. We want to help you have fun on a bike!

This beautiful 40 acre park caters to family fun in a relaxed and natural atmosphere. With several gorgeous RV glamping units and 120 fully or partially-serviced sites as well as quiet tenting sites nestled in the trees, the Mountainaire is the perfect place from which to base your Vancouver Island vacation. Youll enjoy instant relaxation at our RV glamping units, newly renovated clean bathrooms, free warm and steady showers and a laundromat as well as an onsite convenience store. Spend a few minutes hiking through the rainforest to the spectacular Crystal Bowl for river swimming, cliff diving, scuba diving, or even crayfish catching or playing on floaties with your little ones. Young campers will also enjoy riding bikes down the ramps, playing at our popular playground, fishing at the pond, or watching millions of tadpoles grow into western toads and start their migration journey toward the rainforest. Through the Coastal Rides app, we deliver a world-class experience while providing a local service that meets the needs of our community. Coastal Rides operates on the Sunshine Coast, in the Comox Valley, Tofino, Ucluelet, Port Alberni, Campbell River, and Fort St. John. Riders can pre-book rides up to 7 days in advance using the Coastal Rides app.

Established in 1986 Helijet has been a proud and active participant in British Columbia's growth for the past two and a half decades. Beginning with a single helicopter, and a handful of enthusiastic employees, Helijet launched Canada's first scheduled helicopter service. This Farmers' Market offers a unique experience with a permanent outdoor marketplace during the spring/summer including vendor booths, a food barn, a bandshell for local music and a miniature train that runs during the Sunday market. You will find fresh, locally grown produce, meats and eggs as well as fresh baking and preserves. There's plenty of ready to eat food to keep you satisfied as you listen to live music, enjoy local craftspeople and relax around the stage or the children's sandbox. For a relaxing experience to help you get a good sense of what Powell River community feels like, join us from May-Sept on Saturdays from 10:30 am - 12:30 pm and year round on Sundays from 12:30 pm - 2:30pm at 4365 McLeod Road. Plenty of parking available including 10 handicap spots close to the entrance.

Grounded in photography, The Polygon Gallery creates space to challenge how we see the world. The Gallery moved into its Governor Generals Medal-winning building in 2017 after operating as Presentation House Gallery for 40 years. The organization has presented more than 300 exhibitions and earned a reputation as one of the countrys most adventurous public art institutions.
