Located in the small Village of Zeballos, Steve Shelley Fishing Adventures is an small family owned outdoor adventure, salt water, and fresh water sport fishing company. We provide all inclusive sport fishing, whale watching, bear viewing + tour packages and we offer a variety of different options that can tailor an adventure to meet an individual, family or group needs.

We are a Non-profit Society preserving the history of the area that shows what life was like back in the Gold Rush days. The 108 Heritage Site has buildings on site going as far back as 1880. The buildings are opened everyday from May long weekend so people can see some of the great artifacts that they hold. The 105 Mile Roadhouse is open to the public to walk through. Our knowledgeable staff and students will be happy to give you a tour and talk about the house and how it was used then. The 108 Heritage Site runs mainly on donations from guests who appreciate and love the history behind the good old days

We are a little farm based in Lantzville (seven minutes north of Nanaimo) on beautiful Vancouver Island, British Columbia. We are Nanaimo area's family destination for fun! Stop by and visit the adorable miniature animals in our petting farm, and peruse the delightful home decor shop on site where you can pick up a t-shirt or a locally made soap! Pick up a farm-grown bee-friendly hanging basket, or bring a picnic lunch to enjoy outside. We offer birthday parties, workshops, and often host concerts. Tidy modern washrooms on site. Take a Harbour Tour, historic Gorge Waterway Cruise, or hop on an H2O Water Taxi as you explore inner Harbour destinations. Visit us on the dock in front of the Empress Hotel. From there, a VHF Captain can take you to Victoria's best-kept secret: Fisherman's Wharf! Feed the seals, grab some lunch from Barb's Fish and Chips, check out the funky float homes, go for a whale-watching or kayak adventure with Eagle Wing or Kelp Reef, and pick up an ice cream cone from Jackson's on the way back into town! Opened to the public in 2013, the Fernie Museum is located in the heart of historic downtown Fernie. The museum offers two floors of exhibits, a gift shop, archives and visitor information services. The main floor permanent exhibit highlights the story of the Fernie region, from the use of the area by the Ktunaxa to underground and open pit mining to the development of Fernie as a four-season resort community. The second floor gallery features rotating art and history exhibits. The Museum also offers a range of programs throughout the year, including popular themed walking tours during the summer. Museum staff are on hand to help guide your paths as your explore our museum, community and the environment around us whether it is on the ski hill or on our many hiking or biking trails. Public washrooms are available and the facility offers barrier free access.

Bordering Yoho National Park on the banks of the Kicking Horse River just off the Trans Canada Highway, Chancellor Peak Chalets gives a deluxe lodging experience.

Through the collaboration of the Northeast Aboriginal Business Centre and Treaty 8 Tribal Association, the Indigenous Artist Market was created as an outlet for local Indigenous and First Nation(s) artisans. Here they are able to sell their pieces as well as hold workshops to teach their craft. In addition, the market has gifts and souvenirs that promotes First Nation(s) culture and traditions. Due to COVID-19, the Indigenous Artists' Market will be open for sales within the limited hours as posted and will also be available for online orders. All forms of payment are still acceptable, including Visa/Mastercard/Debit/Cash.
