Wild Root Journeys offers day and multi-day sea kayak and hiking trips, lessons, and nature retreats along British Columbia's coastline. We are certified guides through the Sea Kayak Guide Alliance of BC offering experience and heart. Our goal is to open doors for those seeking out adventure, time to recharge and growth in nature.

In the heart of the planets only inland temperate rainforest, board one of our specially designed boats for this smooth but exciting River Safari. Explore up to 12 kilometers of the spectacular Grizzly Bear Valley where the bears decide when and for how long we stop along the way! As you are travelling through glacier-fed rivers and lakes and going where it seems no boat has gone before, we hope to see wildlife among the river banks. In addition to an information-packed narrative, guides will point out glaciers and many waterfalls toppling from the surrounding snow-capped mountains. The River Safari is an absolute must-do activity. Your point of departure is conveniently located just north of Blue River off of Yellowed Highway #5, halfway between Jasper and Kamloops, as well as halfway between Mt. Robson and Wells Grey Park. Hi, my name is Josephine, and I am the Property Manager here at TikiVillage in beautiful Vernon, BC. Our beautiful garden area is so relaxing and it was wonderful to see barbecues for the guest use. I have grown to love my job and I am very lucky to have met so many wonderful people from all over the world. I want to announce that I am aware that we show our age, but the rooms and linens are clean and you wont ever meet a greater team. The Tiki will be retiring soon to make way for a bigger Hotel, so we are what we are and we strive to make up for it in many other ways.
