The Hedley Museum is closed for the 2022 season now. Opening again in May of 2023. Opening hours generally include Thursday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday & Mondays 10:00-4:00pm. In 2023 we hope to be open 7 days a week for July and August. A charming heritage museum in the heart of the Similkameen Valley, that shares the towns gold mining history. The building houses a gift shop, tea room and an amazing collection of photos, stories and artifacts. The back garden is shaded and provides a welcome place to sit and enjoy the day. The building is wheel accessible and air conditioned. Admission is by donation and our tour guides will gladly show you around the museum. Also lots of brochures, maps and info for tourists & visitors at the info booth inside the museum.

Nestled in Sinclair Canyon, Radium Hot Springs, located in British Columbias Kootenay National Park, includes a hot soaking pool and cooler swimming pool. Only 15 minutes from downtown Vancouver, allow 2 - 3 hours for your visit to Vancouver's iconic Capilano Suspension Bridge, hanging 450 feet (137m) across and 230 feet (70m) above Capilano River. The park offers more than just the bridge. Its surrounding 27 acres celebrate nature, history and culture in unique and thrilling ways. Cliffwalk hangs for 213m (700ft) and reaches 91m (300ft) high, hugging the granite cliffside and offering a panoramic view of the thriving rainforest and canyon far below. On Treetops Adventure walk from one magnificent old growth Douglas-fir to another on a series of seven elevated suspension bridges, reaching as high as 110 feet (33m), for a squirrel's eye view of the forest. Guides, signage and interactive exhibits throughout the park help you in your understanding of rainforest ecosystems and their sustainability.

The Bulkley Valley Nordic Centre features a 52 km network of cross country ski trails through sheltered spruce and pine forest. 11 km of the trails are dog friendly. 5.5 kms of lit trails provide an excellent opportunity for skiing after work or school. Trail lights are on until 9:30 pm every night. The trails are groomed and set for both classic and skate techniques frequently. The Buchfink Memorial lodge offers a kitchen, indoor washrooms, change rooms, and a roomy seating area upstairs. The Gary Murdoch Memorial wax hut provides a warm and functional space for waxing.
