The Gold Panner Campground is family operated and located in the foothills of the Monashee mountains. Our campground is dog friendly. We kindly ask that you clean up after your dog and keep them on a leash at all times. Some of the amenities at the Gold Panner Campground are: a covered BBQ area, playground, museum, coin operated showers, flushing toilets, and multiple outhouses. Whether your camping in a tent, 5th wheel, truck camper, RV, camper van, car, truck, motor home, van, or travelling lite and need a chalet or cabin, we will have something for you. There are 3 beautiful Chalets that sleep 8-9 and 4 smaller cabins that sleep up to 6. Our Resort is situated only a 5 hour drive from Vancouver, BC on Mahood Lake Road. Come and enjoy the quiet that greets our guests. Walk our nature trails or just relax. This premier property offers the best ski in ski out access at the Kimberley Alpine Resort, and incredible views of the western slope of the Canadian Rockies. Walk out your door and ski down to the main quad lift - the Northstar Express. Ski/snowboard right to your door at the end of the day. Relax in your private hot tub while watching the slopes. All units have private hot tubs and BBQs.

We offer two B&B room options each with large corner garden view windows, a private Ensuite and hot breakfast. The Rose Room features early 1900 era double bed, side table, armoire and dresser. The Floral Room features Mission style queen bed, two side tables and dresser. The Ensuite has a large soaker tub and separate shower. The third option is a one bedroom self-catering suite with private entrance. The suite also has a queen sized sofa bed enabling four guests in total. A fold-up cot is available upon request.

Paved multi-user path connects from here to all major destinations in Tofino, Ucluelet and in Pacific Rim National Park.
