Rainforest Tours leads its guests through uniquely West Coast experiences on hikes designed to suit most levels of ability. These excursions range in length from two hours to one full day and explore areas including East Sooke Park and the Juan De Fuca Marine Trail. All trips include transportation to and from the hikes from a specific location within the Greater Victoria Area, a gourmet lunch, and experienced interpretive guide. Guests learn about the ecology and history of the area while experiencing the unique beauty and fresh air of Vancouver Island.

The Douglas J. Husband Discovery Centre is an accessible space for dialogue and discovery about our communitys past, present, and future. Featuring authentic objects, digital experiences, and fascinating stories, all are welcome to engage with Deltas storied history. Learn by using the touchscreens in our galleries and creating new land forms in our sand table. Watch our water table demonstrate how the region of Delta was formed over 9000 years and use a wand to activate the animals in the habitat theatre. Visit and discover Delta today! The Chali-Rosso Gallery collection is primarily focused on graphic works by the Modern Masters, including Pablo PICASSO, Salvador DALI, Marc CHAGALL, Joan MIRO and Henri MATISSE. In addition, we also offer works by REMBRANDT, Pierre-Auguste RENOIR, Edgar DEGAS, Andy WARHOL and a variety of others. The gallery launched the Definitely Dali project in May 2017, continuing in 2018 and 2019.

Discover Whistler's original summer activity the legendary River of Golden Dreams and scenic Alta Lake The flat water river is more than just a float, its an Exploring Adventure. Spectacular views of mountain peaks, Beaver, Eagles, Osprey, Herons and even Black Bears are regular sights that will have you eagerly wondering whats around the next bend. Unlike an amusement park ride River of Golden Dreams trips allow you to be an active participant, one of the reasons people keep coming back to paddle the river. In the spring the water levels can be high and moving though always flat and no rapids. By mid-summer water levels are gentle. By late summer the beaver start rebuilding their dams creating pools to paddle in. Guides are recommended, though experienced river paddlers go unguided. Our River trips have limited availability and often sell out, please pre book to assure your spot. Located at Lakeside Park minutes from Whistler Village.
