Established in 2016, the Audain Art Museum is a leading arts organization founded upon the major philanthropic gift of Michael Audain and Yoshiko Karasawa. Located in Whistler, British Columbia and designed by the internationally-renowned firm Patkau Architects, the AAM boasts a comprehensive Permanent Collection of the provinces most celebrated artists. Exemplifying the richness of cultural difference in Canada, the collection takes visitors on a transformative visual journey from the late 18th century to present. Highlights include hereditary Haida Chief James Harts 'The Dance Screen (The Scream Too),' an exceptional collection of historical and contemporary Indigenous masks, the largest permanent display of paintings by Emily Carr, and key examples of the Vancouver photo conceptualism movement. We grow the barley & hops, and brew our beer on the farm. Planting, harvesting, malting, brewing, drinking. We believe in showcasing the Locality of ingredients, the regionality of brewing, and the farmers role in making a great beer. Locality Brewing is also home to many television series such as Riverdale, Sabrina and When Calls the Heart.

River Valley Ranch lies in an idyllic valley with fertile fields and the Kootenay River running though it. River Valley Ranch is an old world mixed farm applying bio-dynamic farming practices to the individual and the whole. The farm and household are off-grid and run on alternative energy. Coombs Country Campground is a 34 acre RV park and campground located 5 minutes from both Parksville and Qualicum Beach on the way to Tofino. We are located next the Coombs Rodeo grounds and close to all the shops in Coombs. We have 100 fully and partially serviced and unserviced tent campsites, a pristine 2.5 acre lake, 12 acres of forest trails, heated pool and hot tub, general store, and a playground and arcade for the kids.

A quiet forest retreat awaits you. Between 4-5 pm we welcome you with tea /coffee or refreshments and home bakings or fruits. You will feel right at home. The clean air, the smell of cedar and the inviting fireplace are setting the tone for " I want to put my feet up" kind of feeling.( Yes you can!) Our home is tucked away in a 5 acre forest and surrounded by beautiful cedars and Douglas firs. In the main house, all suites provide full ensuite bathrooms with radiant in floor heating, luxurious robes, hairdryers and amenities. two suites offer air conditioning. Each room has a smart flatscreen TV, it's own fridge and coffeemaker the Woodpecker suite has an additional kitchenette and extra sitting dining area. Luxuriate in your queen size bed with wonderful air dried, high end sheets and bedding. Free WIFI in the whole area and Free off-street parking for all our guests. Our generous, full and gourmet Breakfast is served in our dining room between 7am and 9 am for our B&B guests. We serve fresh ground, fair trade organic coffee, fresh fruits and juices, most local products and always a warm protein dish and home made bakings and preservatives. We also offer a specious self contained and separate 2 bedroom cottage for guests. The main attraction for the cottage is the beautiful Kingsize bed, and Wood-stove, the lovely sun room and full stocked kitchen. It has a huge sun-deck and nice private garden. Saturday's Errington farmers market is a must and Coombs market, and Parksville's stunning beaches are less than 15 minutes away. Big Bar Guest Ranch is proudly owned by Stswecemc Xgattem First Nation (SXFN), a community located in a semi-remote area on the the Fraser River, approximately 85 kilometers southwest of Williams Lake. Once two distinct bands, Canoe Creek (Stswecemc) and Dog Creek (Xgattem), our two Secwepemc communities joined together in the late 1800s. We honour our separate histories and our coming together. In the 1860s, more than 10,000 people traversed the Caribou Wagon Roadin search of a new life, land to raise cattle, or a gold strike. Harry Marriott, an immigrant from England, started working for the notorious Gang Ranch, one the largest ranch in Canada. Marriot acquired smaller ranches and land parcels, eventually consolidating them into the O.K Ranching Company, with access over 200,000 acres of cattle country and wilderness. Marriott partnered with his friend and Vancouver banker, George S Harrison and sectioned off 100 acres of their mutual land acquisition for his personal use. This was the beginning of Big Bar Guest Ranch. Much is unchanged since the Harrison family used Big Bar Ranch as their family retreat. The original family home, "The Harrison House", built in 1936 with logs and stone hewn and selected from the property, continues to provide a cozy retreat for guests on holiday relaxing in the great room in front of the fire place, or playing a cowboy song on the guitar in the music room. Big Bar guests have access to the original acreage of the OK Cattle Company, and can venture out across unspoiled pasture lands and forests. What has changed is that Big Bar Guest Ranch is now a part of our shared community vision of becoming an economically and politically self-sustaining community living Secwepemc culture, language, and traditions in a healthy and safe environment.
