The Fraser River Discovery Centre is a fun and friendly place for families of all ages in the heart of New Westminster, BC. We are here to discover the environment, economy and culture of the Fraser River through rotating exhibits and hands-on activities. We offer guided tours, field-trips, birthday parties, facility rentals and have a gift shop.

Our welcome mat is within easy walking distance to downtown Williams Lake, the stampede grounds, restaurants, and Scout Island beach and nature trails. The motel features 18 regular and deluxe rooms and 6 large suites and junior suites with decks offering wonderful views of Williams Lake.

Spectacular West Coast BC scenery is offered in a 2 hour kayak tour in Sechelt Inlet. Our friendly, knowledgeable guides will take you and your family on a scenic 2 hour tour from our bay and around the Lamb Islets where you can see eagles flying overhead and curious seals popping up. Sechelt Inlet also boasts visits from white sided dolphins and Orca/Killer Whales. The Adventure starts here! We also offer rentals from 1 hour to multi day rentals.
