Malahat SkyWalk opened in July 2021 as the newest outdoor experience providing the ultimate natural high on Vancouver Island located 35 minutes north of Victoria, British Columbia, Canada. Accessible by all ages and wheelchair-friendly, it will immerse visitors in nature as they embark on a 600 metre-long elevated walkway through an expansive Arbutus and Douglas Fir forest, leading to a 10-storey, architecturally-inspiring spiral tower lookout the first of its kind in B.C. Rising 250 metres above sea level, guests can enjoy 360-degree views of islands, inlets, fjords, forests and mountains in two countries. An adventure net suspended partially across the centre of the Spiral Tower provides daring guests with another breathtaking perspective on the spiraling structure below before returning to ground level with an option to take an exhilarating ride down a 20 metre (65 ft) spiral slide. Vaseux Lakeside Resort is a fully equipped, four-unit townhouse property, located in the sunny south Okanagan Valley of British Columbia. Upstairs is the four-piece bathroom, as well as a handy washer and dryer. Walk down the hall, into the airy peaked ceiling bedroom, with queen bed, walk-in closet, and private balcony. To ensure your view from bed is unobstructed, the balcony is glass-enclosed. The Vaseux Lake region is a protected wilderness area that provides habitat for a variety of species of flora and fauna, including many which are rare and endangered. Encouraging our guests to explore and appreciate the beautiful space, we provide complimentary use of two kayaks, two paddle boards, and a canoe. Nearby trails offer good hiking and cycling, including the Kettle Valley Trail, just minutes away. Find us just off Hwy 97 between Okanagan Falls and Oliver, approximately 400km (250 miles) from Vancouver.

Since 1958, the Museum has moved several times. The current configuration has the Museum housed in the Citys former City Hall building while the object storage and Chilliwack Archives are housed in a municipally owned structure three blocks from the museum. The Museum and Archives are governed by the Chilliwack Museum and Historical Society. The Daajing Giids Visitor Center is located on the waterfront with gorgeous ocean views. We are an excellent local source of information when visiting Haida Gwaii. Inside the longhouse inspired building you will find engaging, resourceful staff, artisan galleries, a gift shop as well as useful interpretive materials. Head outside to our garden and picnic area to relax and take in the fresh air. We also have a large day parking area for RVs and clean indoor public restrooms. We are closed seasonally from December until mid-April. We will be intermittently checking our email; and voicemail messages throughout this time. Stay tuned for our reopening date in Spring!
