Whats our story? Our Langley winery was where it all started, but this is where it all happens! The story of our Okanagan winery might start with a tasting in our wine shop, and a friendly conversation over a few sips as you learn about our history on the Naramata Bench. We are a working winery and there will be no mistaking that fact when you come and visit. Take a look around back and you are very likely to see our winemaker Mary McDermott at work. Our goal? Leap in to Salmon's World at the Quatse Salmon Stewardship Centre! Explore, play and learn in our unique interpretive gallery featuring interactive exhibits and live aquaria. Take a guided tour of a working salmon hatchery and talk to knowledgeable staff about this amazing, iconic creature. Learn what makes wild salmon the lifeblood of the BC Coast. A visit to the Salmon Centre is a fun and educational experience for all ages!The Quatse Salmon Stewardship Centre, Quatse River Hatchery, and Quatse River Campground are operated by the Northern Vancouver Island Salmonid Enhancement Association. All proceeds fund salmon conservation efforts on Northern Vancouver Island.

Whistler's new BMX track is located in Bayly Park in the Cheakamus Crossing neighbourhood and is open to the public from dawn to dusk. Led by the volunteer-based Whistler BMX Club, the track and club caters to a wide range of abilities, from preschoolers on run bikers to beginner riders to national level athletes.

Situated on beautiful Denman Island, this cozy 2 bedroom cottage offers a quiet, peaceful retreat from a busy schedule. Close to a swimming lake and across the road from a little trail to the ocean. A few minutes by car to ferry terminal for Hornby Island.

We are a full service paragliding facility , providing Tandem flights , lessons , equipment sales and service . We have accommodation on site from hostel to camping , our paragliding loft has full bathroom , hot showers and kitchen with fridge. Our teaching is from April 1st -Oct 15th. We provide tours in the winter to improve your flying skills during the winter to a variety of locations throughout the world.

Settle in to our off-grid wilderness lodge for an afternoon of kayak skill and safety training before embarking on your kayaking adventure. Meals (both at the lodge and around the campfire) are prepared with organic produce fresh from our garden, eggs from our chickens, local seafood, and home-baked goods. We offer fun and rewarding adventured for all kayaking and fitness abilities. New kayakers are welcome but we also offer exciting challenges for experienced paddlers. Established in 1986 Helijet has been a proud and active participant in British Columbia's growth for the past two and a half decades. Beginning with a single helicopter, and a handful of enthusiastic employees, Helijet launched Canada's first scheduled helicopter service. From that single helicopter, flying eight times a day between downtown Vancouver and downtown Victoria, Helijet has grown into a dynamic publicly-traded company with operations in Richmond, Vancouver, Victoria, Nanaimo, Prince Rupert and Haida Gwaii. Helijet's fleet of medium and large helicopters, and fixed-wing planes, is maintained, flown and administered by a dedicated crew of over 150 employees. Helijet is proud of its growth and accomplishments, and looks forward to many more decades of service.

Big Bar Guest Ranch is proudly owned by Stswecemc Xgattem First Nation (SXFN), a community located in a semi-remote area on the the Fraser River, approximately 85 kilometers southwest of Williams Lake. Once two distinct bands, Canoe Creek (Stswecemc) and Dog Creek (Xgattem), our two Secwepemc communities joined together in the late 1800s. We honour our separate histories and our coming together. In the 1860s, more than 10,000 people traversed the Caribou Wagon Roadin search of a new life, land to raise cattle, or a gold strike. Harry Marriott, an immigrant from England, started working for the notorious Gang Ranch, one the largest ranch in Canada. Marriot acquired smaller ranches and land parcels, eventually consolidating them into the O.K Ranching Company, with access over 200,000 acres of cattle country and wilderness. Marriott partnered with his friend and Vancouver banker, George S Harrison and sectioned off 100 acres of their mutual land acquisition for his personal use. This was the beginning of Big Bar Guest Ranch. Much is unchanged since the Harrison family used Big Bar Ranch as their family retreat. The original family home, "The Harrison House", built in 1936 with logs and stone hewn and selected from the property, continues to provide a cozy retreat for guests on holiday relaxing in the great room in front of the fire place, or playing a cowboy song on the guitar in the music room. Big Bar guests have access to the original acreage of the OK Cattle Company, and can venture out across unspoiled pasture lands and forests. What has changed is that Big Bar Guest Ranch is now a part of our shared community vision of becoming an economically and politically self-sustaining community living Secwepemc culture, language, and traditions in a healthy and safe environment. Stswecemc Xgattem First Nation invites you to Big Bar Guest Ranch to experience the dramatic landscape of traditional SXFN Territory: interlocking valleys and plateaus, situated between bold and snow topped mountain ranges. It is our honour to share history as the original inhabitants of this land and welcome you to life on the ranch.
