Our 10-acre hobby farm features panoramic ocean views overlooking Juan de Fuca, just 10 minutes drive from Sooke. 32inch flat-screen TV and private entrance and washroom for all 3 units. Each includes a private terrace, coffee makers. The kitchenette offers a full kitchen with 2 plate burner stove and the Muir Cabin offers a full kitchen and L shaped for the bedroom. Guests at Gordons Beach are within walking distance to beaches, hiking and mountain biking trails. Whale watching is possible from the property and each unit offers binoculars. Galloping Goose Trail and Juan de Fuca Marine Trail are within 15 minutes drive. Victoria is 1 hours drive away. Firepit patio, and 10 acres to explore. The MAC is a venue for art exhibitions, music performances and other arts and culture events and classes. The exhibitions in our two galleries change every six weeks. We have concerts and story telling events every month. Our git shop is full of art, jewellery, sculpture and all kinds of things all made by local artisans. There's always something going on!

Yellow Dog Brewing is a family-run brewery focused on producing high quality locally crafted beer for everyone to enjoy. In the summer of 2014, Mike and Melinda Coghill opened up Port Moodys very first craft brewery to bring great beer and a family atmosphere to the craft beer world and our little part of Vancouver. Embraced by the community, Yellow Dog has grown into one of BC largest breweries. Liam Murphy heads our brewing team and with a focus on high quality and innovative beers. The singular focus on the quality of beer has led to many awards and a strong following for our core offerings. We are a functioning brewery with an on-site tasting room and patio. Our family has been farming on this lovely part of the Oldfield valley since the late 1950's; first in strawberries, and then loganberries for the island wineries in the mid 1960's to 70's. We planted our vines in 2003 and opened our tasting room in 2012. Just 15 minutes north of Victoria near Butchart Gardens, we specialize in dry white wines and lively, lightly oaked reds. We grow Ortega - a signature grape for Vancouver Island, as well as Pinot Gris, Gewurztraminer, Pinot Noir (we make a rose and a red from this grape), Millot and Foch, as well as our low alcohol "Splash". The Barn building on our property was left empty at the end of our horses lives. Not wanting to have the building unused, we eventually decided to expand our home-based art and photography business which had been housed for years in our much smaller studio into this great new space. After months of renovations ART IN THE BARN GALLERY was born. We went on, to further renovate space to house Gabriels full-service, in-house Photography Studio and a full service on site framing shop. We both have a long history of working in Victoria as well as years of experience in our professions and work spanning Canada and other countries. It is fabulous to have such a wonderful place to showcase our work. While we predominantly display our own art and photography, we also occasionally host other talented people with locally made artwork for display and sale which includes pottery, jewelry. A must see.
