Founded in 1995, Tin Whistle Brewing is the original craft brewery of the South Okanagan, offering a wide selection of beer for locals and visitors alike. Tin Whistle was named after the first locomotive train to run on the Kettle Valley Railway which when it was constructed connected the regions of the Okanagan Valley like never before. Look no further than the beer label for activity inspiration. Classic Series labels feature the flora and fauna of the Okanagan region, including Black Widow Dark English Ale, Coyote Blonde Ale, Killer Bee Honey Porter and Peach Cream Ale. Adventure Series labels feature local landmarks, including the Munson Mountain Lookout for Lookout IPA, the pristine Okanagan beaches for Coco Galore Coconut Hopfenweisse and the Penticton Channel float for the Morning Glory Guava Hazy Pale Ale. Tin Whistle focuses on making great beer, with less impact. They are the first certified carbon neutral brewery in BC.

Summer Accommodations Mike Wiegele Helicopter Skiing resort is a summer retreat, beautifully situated on the shores of Eleanor Lake. It is a convenient overnight option, a peaceful weekend getaway or the perfect place to host your family retreat or function. Guests stay in one of 22 handcrafted log chalets that are nestled throughout the lush gardens and landscape of the resort. All Chalets come equipped with free WiFi, satellite TV, while our private and luxury chalets feature stone fireplace, kitchen, jacuzzi tub or steam shower.

At Whistler's retail "The Shops" at the Westin, Fathom Stone Art Gallery has expanded offering stone art classes daily for locals and visitors. Classes include the 1 hour pendant, 1-2 & 3 hour inukshuk, 3 hour 2-D wildlife, 4 to 6 hour 3-D bear, or 6+ hour freestyle classes. Class participants come and go as they please making their art at their own pace. You get to take home your completed soapstone carving made in the heart of Whistler village. Drop in's welcome from 12 noon to 6 pm, please come see the carving live! (9AM to 10 PM upon appointment 24 hours advance notice) Just bring yourself and lunch/dinner money, take-out food locations are on the village stroll. Britannia Shipyards National Historic Site is an authentic representation of a once thriving community of canneries, boat yards, and residences, along the scenic shores of the Fraser River. Tour the oldest shipyard buildings in British Columbia, as you experience a bygone time when fishing and boatbuilding were flourishing industries on the Fraser River. Many of the buildings date back to 1885 and tell the stories of the diverse community of residents and workers in the historic fishing village of Steveston. Situated alongside Hallamore Lake, Alpine Meadows Resort is 24 KMs outside of Clearwater BC, the gateway to Wells Gray Provincial Park. Choose from chalet, log suite or log home accommodations; or come see whats under the stars, and camp in your RV or one of our glamping tents. CHECK IN: Starts at 3 PM. Please note, Alpine Meadows is a small and remote resort, we do not operate a 24-hour Front Desk. Our entire collection is made on our farm with our own lavender, apples and honey, locally foraged botanicals, and thoughtfully sourced ingredients.
