Vaseux Lake Provincial Park is a popular roadside campground that provides excellent fishing opportunities for bass, trout and carp. This park boasts beautiful lakeside sites. It is conveniently located on Highway 97 between OK Falls and Oliver. It is minutes away from amenities and popular tourist spots. Viewing platforms at Vaseux Wildlife Centre offer excellent nature sighting opportunities for birds, aquatic life, mountain goats and big horn sheep. Park users at Vaseux Wildlife Centre should use caution as poison ivy is common in the area. Open from the first weekend in April through Thanksgiving Weekend.

If you are looking for a luxurious camping experience with everything set up for you, this is the place :) You have the option of renting our glamping units individually, or for groups, you can book the entire site. We can accommodate up to 4 guests in our furnished double-yurt, a total of 6 guests in our furnished canvas tents and up to 6 extra guests in our unfurnished canvas tents (great for kids). Got a bigger group to accommodate? We have plenty of room for extra guests to bring their own gear for dispersed camping. Our property provides you with all of the comforts and essentials you need for a restorative time away. Each unit is comfortably appointed with beautiful furnishings and queen beds with super plush Polysleep memory foam mattresses. Towels and linens are included. Our glamping units feature private outdoor fire pits and kitchenettes with cold running drinking water, cookware, dishware, and utensils. The museum consists of three galleries. The permanent gallery at Anvil Centre takes you on a journey of discovery, covering over 10,000 years of New Westminster history and ending in 2010. Gallery 7 picks up where the permanent gallery leaves off. This is a place of engagement and interaction, bringing forth the contemporary stories of our city through discussion, dialogue, and exhibition in a smaller intimate setting. The temporary gallery lets us take a deeper look into many of our city's more interesting and thought-provoking stories, individuals, and objects. The third gallery can be found at 1865 Irving House, the former colonial home of Captain William Irving, and one of the oldest community heritage sites in B.C.

Historic site with guided tours of original roadhouse (hotel) built in 1860. Over 20 original buildings and many pieces of old farm equipment. The Traditional Indigenous Village has displays of early food storage, shelters, and traditions. Stage Coach rides, daily demonstrations, panning and all is included with your admission. An Artisan Gallery featuring unique works made by local artisans and restaurant with large patio are also in the main reception building.

This forested campground offers a sunny creek-side setting for campers of all kinds, with more trees and privacy on the north end in the first-come, first-served section and sunnier pull-through sites on the south end in the reservable section. Forest Rose Campground has 30 campsites that can be booked in advance, as well as 26 campsites in the first-come, first-served section. It features a playground, and a washroom building with flush toilets, potable water, and coin-operated showers. Bear-proof garbage and recycling bins are offered in central locations throughout the campground. All campsites are equipped with a wheelchair-accessible picnic table and campfire ring. Firewood is available for an additional fee of $10 per day. Campsites are an average of 55 feet long and 13 feet wide and can accommodate most trailers and RVs. Forest Rose Campground is located off of the Bowron Lake Road, along the east side of Williams Creek and a stone's throw from the Barkerville Highway. It's 2 km north of the Barkerville Visitor Centre. Guests can travel back and forth from the Historic Zone to Forest Rose via the highway, or cross the highway on foot to access a well-groomed walking path. Forest Rose Campground is part of the 1,100-hectare property that forms Barkerville Historic Town & Park and is managed by Barkerville Heritage Trust.
