The BC Accelerator Program is designed to help BC tourism businesses with limited experience in the travel trade gain valuable insights and connections. Over three days in Kelowna, participants will receive tailored export training and direct access to global travel trade specialists through a live marketplace activation. This pilot event offers a unique opportunity to refine strategies, showcase offerings, and establish key industry relationships.
Sellers Opportunities & Considerations
The BC Accelerator Program offers a valuable opportunity for market-ready businesses to reach export-ready status. Sellers will receive:
- Pre-event Education & Training: Support to become export and trade-ready.
- Marketplace Booth: One set of appointments to meet with buyers and overseas partners.
- Exposure: Networking events with buyers.
Participation Considerations:
- Travel & Accommodations: Sellers must arrange and cover their own travel to and accommodations in Kelowna.
- Time Commitment: Sellers must engage in the Seller’s Education Plan to become export and travel trade ready.
- Insurance: Participants are responsible for arranging any necessary insurance related to their travel, for this event.
