The Cheng Squared Duo, cellist Bryan Cheng and pianist Silvie Cheng, are proud Canadians with musical bases in Berlin and New York City. The sibling duo will be joined by internationally acclaimed clarinetist James Campbell to perform Beethoven’s Trio Op. 11, Bruch Op. 83, Brahms’ Clarinet Trio and Klezmer inspired music!

Garlands of Spain: This program will draw on the music of Spain and Spanish influenced music and will spotlight the premiere of three new arrangements by Marcel Bergmann. A new Spanish flavoured piece for 2 pianos written especially for this concert by Marcel Bergmann will also be premiered.

Winners of LCMS’ Sharon Stevenson Development Scholarship, violinist Brooklyn Wood and pianist Charmaine Yang will be joined by another LCMS alumni, violist Clayton Leung. Each of these stellar musicians will play solo repertoire and will also join forces in combinations as duos and as a trio.
