Quesnel & District Museum & Archives

A recently renovated community museum, telling the stories of the Southern Carrier First Nations and the peoples who have settled in the Cariboo in the last 250 years. Listen to stories of Chinese and First Nations Elders at our video stations and meet the residents of the early 20th century through the remarkable portraits of CD. Hoy and C.S. Wing. Participate in scavenger hunts and hands on activities. Keep the memory of your visit alive with a souvenir from our gift shop. We have a good selection of history books, clothing, toys, jewelry and housewares. The museum is open year round Tuesday - Saturday; 9 am - 4 pm , (closed on statutory holidays). During the Peak season May 19 - August 31 It is open daily, (including statutory holidays).
