Metro Vancouver

A gateway to the outdoors and a wonder all its own

As the largest urban area in British Columbia, Metro Vancouver on the southern tip of the province, is a haven for outdoor enthusiasts and cosmopolitan adventurers alike.

Framed by the Pacific Ocean and Coast Mountains, the metropolitan area is a constellation of smaller cities—each with its own unique character and curiosities.

Metro Vancouver is as culturally diverse as it is beautiful. For thousands of years First Nations Peoples have called the area home and their distinct cultures are woven into the fabric of communities. Learn their stories through Indigenous-led tours, restaurants, and galleries. The area also reflects the many global cultures that have shaped and continue to enrich life on these lands.

This eclectic metropolis is a gateway to the Rainforest to Rockies route to the east and just a ferry ride away from The Infinite Coast to the west.
