Whistler

A lively mountain village with adventure in every season.

Whistler is a vibrant village with a youthful spirit. Nestled in the homelands of Squamish Nation and Líl̓wat Nation, the community is surrounded by the towering Coast Mountains, temperate rainforest, and sparkling lakes.

Just 1.5 hours up the Sea-to-Sky Highway from Vancouver, the village buzzes with events and eclectic cuisine, but outdoor adventure is never far. Beyond the comforts, cafés, shops, galleries, and museums of Whistler Village, trails and ancient forests call to casual adventurers and outdoor purists alike. Hike in the morning and golf in the afternoon, ride singletrack, or unwind lakeside. In winter, ski powder stashes and celebrate the day at a lively après.

At its heart is Whistler Blackcomb, one of North America’s largest ski areas and lift-accessed bike parks. From here, continue the Rainforest to Rockies journey northwest toward Mount Robson and the Canadian Rockies.
