The Greenwood Visitor Centre & Museum offers a wide range of provincial, regional & local publications. A self-guided Heritage Walking Tour, Phoenix Interpretive Forest Driving Tour and many maps are available. The Museum features our mining history, Japanese Internment gallery & other interesting displays. Our gift shop includes local Japanese art, rocks, minerals, jewelry, cards & books. A guided tour of our 1903 BC Supreme Courthouse is popular with our visitors. Stained glass windows depict the 7 provinces in the confederation of Canada in 1902. Our knowledgeable and friendly staff look forward to giving our visitors a warm welcome to Canada's Smallest Incorporated City.

Facilities: 16 campsites, pit toilets, water hand pump. Location: 5 km west of Rock Creek on Highway 3. Johnstone Creek is a quiet, forested campground just off Highway 3. Whether you are looking for relaxation in a beautiful nature setting or are seeking a well situated roadside stopover 35 minutes west of Osoyoos, this campground is less than 10 minutes from Rock Creek and Kettle River Recreation Area. Campsites are often available for last-minute campers in peak months. Fees are cash only and are self-registration. The park has 38 hectares of mature Douglas fir, larch and spruce trees that provide habitat for woodpeckers and other cavity nesting bird species. White-tailed deer are often seen in the park. Wildlife viewing opportunities can be observed from the short nature loop hike and lookout trail. Open from the May Long Weekend through the second weekend in September.

Facilities: 26 campsites, public beach and day-use area, pit toilets, water hand pump. There is a 10hp boating restriction on the lake. Location: 12 km from Highway 3 east of Greenwood. Jewel Lake is a popular rustic campground that attracts fishermen, campers, and people looking to explore the great outdoors. It is common to spot anglers fly-fishing for rainbow trout on this scenic 3 km long lake. This truly unique provincial park offers stunning views in a wilderness setting. Campsites are often available for last-minute campers in peak months. Open from the May Long Weekend through the second weekend in September.

***IMPORTANT NOTICE*** Kettle River Recreation Area and Campground will be fully operational and open as usual on May 6th. The Campground and Day-Use Area was minimally affected by the Rock Creek Fire. Facilities: 113 campsites, 1 large group site, public beach and day-use area, playground, shower, flush toilets, sani-station. Location: 5 km north of Rock Creek on Highway 33. Kettle River Recreation Area is one of the largest and most popular destination family campgrounds in the Okanagan - Boundary Region. Located minutes from amenities in Rock Creek, it is only 45 minutes from Osoyoos and 90 minutes from Kelowna. Campers will want to bring their bikes and floaties! This park offers fantastic biking/hiking opportunities and access to the historic Trans Canada Trail network. A bike pump track was recently added and is a hit with kids of all ages. In the summer months, campers walk their tubes and floaties to the Kettle River that flows alongside the campground, while others enjoy basking on the sandy beaches and swimming in the river. The iconic Kettle River Trestle at the day-use serves as a beautiful backdrop for park users and is a great photo opportunity! Reservations are strongly recommended during peak season, however last-minute campers may be able to find a spot in July and August. Spring and Fall campers enjoy large, sun-filled sites in a peaceful, pristine setting. Firewood and ice are available for sale at the Host Site. Open from the first weekend in May through the last weekend in September.

We have been in operation for over 20 years, and have an outstanding service reputation. We also offer rentals of SUP's, Kayaks, and bikes and offer tours on the Kettle Valley Railgrade.

Conveniently located along Highway 3, Boundary Creek campground is a well situated overnight stop and popular for those passing through the Boundary Region. Boundary Creek is a first come, first serve park and often has spots available, even during peaks periods. A slagheap and crumbling stack near the park mark the site of the historic BC Copper Co. smelter, which employed 400 people between 1901 and 1918. The quaint town of Greenwood is minutes away and offers many amenities, including restaurants, cafes and a pub. Open from early May through mid September.

Facilities: 34 campsites, 2 group sites, public beach, picnic area, boat launch, hiking trails, pit toilets, hand water pump. There is a 10hp boating restriction on the lake. Location: The best access road is off of Highway 3 about 6km east of Bridesville. Follow Johnstone Creek Road for 25km to the park. It is a maintained gravel road and takes approximately 40 minutes from the highway turnoff. Other access points off of Highway 33 and from OK Falls are not well marked and are unmaintained forestry roads that are not suitable for vehicle traffic. Conkle Lake is a secluded lake in the sub-alpine Kettle Valley area that offers rainbow trout fishing, canoeing, swimming and hiking. Come enjoy the sunshine, sandy beach and pristine views at this out-of-the-way gem! Firewood is available for sale. Open from May Long Weekend through Labour Day.

Featuring engaging contemporary art exhibitions, an artisanal gift shop, and a vibrant art rental program, the gallery provides visitor information and experiences to tourists and locals alike. Our engaging exhibitions will surprise and delight you and provoke conversation. We aim to present exhibits that place Grand Forks and the Boundary Region in the larger contemporary cultural context.

The Old Cowboy Ranch is located just 3 km north of Westbridge, British Columbia on Hwy#33. Riverside campground, horseback riding and more. On the ranch, we also offer a 2 bedroom fully furnished Guesthouse. 15 minutes away in the quaint town of Rock Creek we have 4 cottages All units are fully furnished with full kitchens, cookware etc, you only need to bring your toothbrush!

The Boundary Museum Society was established in 1958, and incorporated in 1980. From its inception until 2009, the Boundary Museum Society operated out of the downtown core of Grand Forks, BC. In 2009, the Boundary Museum moved into the former Fructova School, now called the Fructova Heritage Site. The Fructova Heritage Site was built by the Christian Communities of Universal Brotherhood (CCUB) Doukhobors in 1929 as a facility to teach English and academics to the Doukhobor children of the Boundary area. The school was in use until the late 1940's. The Boundary Museum currently features five larger exhibits - the Doukhobors, a schoolroom, local wildlife & environment, historic store in addition to several smaller exhibits on First Peoples, China town in Grand Forks, forestry, sports, and music. Exhibits change from time to time. You will also see a Doukhobor bread oven and perhaps be able to participate in bread making or other activities in the summer months.

Photo Tours on Sundays. The Photo Tours are $20 per person. For 2019 we will tour and photograph Cascade Falls starting mid-May - date TBA. Join us and bring your family. Children under 14 free. It's easy walking for everyone. We have several locations at the falls. Bring your camera, phone or tablet . Facilities: Texas Creek Campground - 63 campsites, showers, flush toilets, boat launch. Marine Sites - 8 rustic sites accessible by boat only. Location: 20 km northeast of Grand Forks on Highway 3 at the north end of Christina Lake. Located on the popular Christina Lake in the Monashee Mountains, Gladstone Provincial Park offers fantastic camping and boating opportunities. The park also has 48 kms of hiking trails as well as backcountry horseback trails. Day-use and picnicking can be found at the nearby Christina Lake Provincial Park day-use area. Firewood and ice are available for sale at the Host Site. Marine Sites are user maintained. This Park is 100% reservable and reservations are strongly recommended. Texas Creek campground is open from the first weekend in May through the third weekend in September.
