KUMR is open from the Victoria Day Holiday in May until Labour Day in September.

The owner, Leo Downey, does one tour every morning May 15th thru September, starting at 10:15 a.m. (Alberta Time )This includes the native fire making demonstration. Learn about B.C. freshwater fish, recreational fishing and hatchery operations at our self-guided visitor centre. Guided tours and birthday parties can be organized- please contact us for more information. The Visitor Centre is open everyday from 9.00am - 3.00pm. The outdoor fishing ponds are open to the public May 1st to October 31st from dawn to dusk. Pond may be closed to the public during registered programs. Please call ahead to confirm availability.

Bavin Glassworks is a family owned and operated working Art Studio and Gallery specializing in Blown Glass. Established in 1988 by Pat Bavin, Bavin Glassworks continues to operate much the same way as it always has. People are welcome to view the glassblowers at work when they are in the studio, and then can view and purchase the wares made on site in the attached gallery.
