Continuously occupied for over 4,300 years, Yuquot village became the capital for all 17 tribes of the Nootka Sound region. Known as the Birthplace of BC where first contact with European explorers and traders occurred 250 years ago. Attracted to the security of the harbour, it became known to explorers as Friendly Cove. As a result, Yuquot developed into an important centre of trade and diplomacy, and it was briefly the site of Spains only military establishment in present-day Canada.

Moto Experience is an Adventure Motorcycle touring company based in Pemberton, British Columbia which is 30kms north of Whistler. We specialize in guided motorcycle adventures showcasing the unreal sights and scenery that were so lucky to be surrounded by. Our tours range in difficulty from beginner to advanced, and can be on-road, off-road or a mixture of both. Cottonwood House is one of the last remaining roadhouses in British Columbia. With over 75 years of Boyd family legacy, a visit to this historic site will allow you to experience the rich history of the Cariboo region first hand. Cottonwood House was built in 1864 offering accommodation, meals, hardware and provisions to many on their journey along the Cariboo Wagon Road to Barkerville or Quesnel. Today, this 26 acre wheelchair accessible provincial heritage site is a tourist destination offering heritage interpretation, hiking, and day use facilities.
