Dawn Mountain Nordic Centre: Come and explore our exciting Nordic ski trails in beautiful Golden, BC! We provide 33 km of groomed trails and a 4km snowshoe loop to enjoy. Whether youre a seasoned Nordic skier or its your first time on the trails, we have a variety of terrain to suit all abilities. These trails are maintained by the Golden Nordic Ski Club in agreement with Recreation Sites and Trails BC. Situated only 1km from the popular Kicking Horse Resort, Nordic skiing is a fun activity to add to your winter holiday bucket list. Hop onto the 5km novice classic ski trail at the Golden golf course. These flowy ski trails are maintained by the Golden Nordic Ski Club. Please be sure to make a trail fee donation at the trailhead.

For over 40 years Glacier Raft Company has been providing white water rafting trips on the Kicking Horse, and other beautiful rivers around Golden B.C. We love the water and the thrill it provides and we want to share it with you! Come live an adventure.

Located on 20 beautiful acres of riverfront property, we offer 8 cabins and 2 lodge rooms. We have an amazing wedding venue - a rustic barn with just enough modern touches and beautiful exposed wood to make any event stunning! Ceremony and reception can be help at the same place with stunning backdrops of the mountains and Blaeberry River. Summer 2020 has us going back to our original business model rather than hosting weddings so we are excited to offer cabin rentals this year. If you've wanted to come stay with us in recent years and haven't been able to, now is your chance! Winter time is magical out here - our cabins sit amongst snowy trees and have wood burning fireplaces! Snowshoe trails are put in right on site as well. The cabins are all equipped with basic kitchenettes as there is no restaurant on site. Golden is a short, 10 minute drive away and offers a great selection of restaurants, pubs and coffee shops. It's a must see property with lots to see and do.

Kicking Horse has attracted rave reviews for its awesome vertical, deep powder and spectacular terrain mix. With an express gondola accessing over 4314 ft (1315m) of vertical, youre bound to ski and ride an impressive feat of terrain comparable to only that of heli-skiing. Battle Abbey Backcountry Lodge, operated by Weber Powder, offers all inclusive (guided & catered) refined mountain experiences in the remote British Columbia backcountry. Established in 1978 by Hans Gmoser (the founder of CMH), Battle Abbey is perched at 2200M in the sub alpine and sits on 10,000 acres of exclusive world-class terrain. Battle Abbey offers a wide array of adventures for intermediate to expert backcountry ski tourers and split-boarders. From steep tree skiing below the lodge to high alpine bowls, couloirs and long glaciated runs above, there is Supreme Skiing for all weather conditions. Trips include ground transportation from Calgary International Airport, inbound/outbound helicopter flights, lodge accommodation, gourmet dining, lodge staff, four ACMG certified guides as well as all safety equipment. Battle Abbey will be closed for the summer of 2024 while the lodge undergoes extensive renovations.

Adventure awaits at Golden Skybridge, home to Canadas highest suspension bridges. As you walk 426 feet above an expansive canyon, engulfed by the Columbia Valley, the epic views of the Rocky and Purcell mountain ranges will take your breath away. Stop by the Golden Visitor Centre to speak with our local, knowledgeable counsellors who are the best resource for insider tips on where to stay, what to eat, and how to make the most of your mountain adventure. We offer free local maps and guides, trip-planning advice, and free wifi. Parks Canada passes and a selection of souvenirs are also available for purchase. Our building and washrooms are fully accessible. Our picnic tables make for a great place for lunch while your dog enjoys a break in the dog run.

Completed in 2008, The Aspens is perched high on the east side of the Kicking Horse Mountain Village. Featuring 14 townhomes ranging from 670 square foot 1-bedroom suites, to 768 square foot 2-bedroom units plus all the amenities you desire for a weekend getaway or week long retreat. Nothing is better after a long day of adventure than rejuvenating your body in a private hot tub on your deck over looking the stunning Canadian Rockies.

In the heart of the Blaeberry Valley, just west of Golden, BC Kicking Horse Kabins offers two luxury properties. #1, The Lodge is a log home. 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, a full kitchen (incl. dishwasher) dining area & lounge around the fireplace.
