This building is truly special. It is one of only a few commercial buildings in BC from this era with intact interior elements. It contains all of the counters, shelving, gas lights, string holders, paper dispensers, as well as a cash register, weigh scale, coffee grinder, cheese wheel and many other items that were used in the operation of the store. The museum aslo contains information on Ainsworth's rich history in the region. Stepping into this store is truly like stepping back in time. The museum also hosts an artisan gift shop filled with beautiful handmade goods as well as an amazing selection of crystals, gemstones, singing bowls, leather goods, and eco friendly Canadian made clothing.

Blue River Campground is located in beautiful Blue River, British Columbia, Canada. We can be found on Highway #5, halfway between Jasper, Alberta and Kamloops, British Columbia. Blue River is best known for its tranquillity and spectacular scenery. The areas rivers, mountains, and lakes provide a vast playground for the outdoor enthusiast. The campground has 42 sites that can accommodate RVs and tents. Water, electricity and full hook-ups are available. Many sites are convenient pull-thru, which can accommodate the longest vehicles. There are five camping cabins which can sleep up to six in a cozy fashion and have lights, plugins, and beds. We also offer canoe, kayak and standard paddleboard for rent for those who want to explore scenic lakes in Blue River!

Facilities: 14 campsites, day-use area, public beach, rustic picnic cabin, water hand pump. Location: 26 km west of Castelgar on Highway 3. An easily-accessible, roadside park with a sub-alpine lake, Nancy Greene Provincial Park is a welcoming and convenient site for day-users and campers. The park is a popular overnight stop for RVer's and also provides day-use for local residents wishing to escape the summer heat of the valley. It's picturesque lake makes it a great spot to enjoy fishing, picnicking, walking, swimming, and nordic skiing in the winter. Grizzly Bear sightings are common in Spring and early Summer. Open from May 15 through the last weekend in September.

Standing at the base of the ski runs and just steps from the gondola are the Glacier and Mountaineer lodges. These beautiful executive style condos and rooms are fully furnished and were designed with creature comfort in mind. All condos have fully equipped kitchens, gas fireplaces and spectacular views. Classes include the 1 hour pendant, 1-2 & 3 hour inukshuk, 3 hour 2-D wildlife, 4 to 6 hour 3-D bear, or 6+ hour freestyle classes. Class participants come and go as they please making their art at their own pace. You get to take home your completed soapstone carving made in the heart of Whistler village. Drop in's welcome from 12 noon to 6 pm, please come see the carving live! (9AM to 10 PM upon appointment 24 hours advance notice) Just bring yourself and lunch/dinner money, take-out food locations are on the village stroll.
