Welcome to the Museum of the Cariboo Chilcotin. We are situated on Broadway Avenue South, Williams Lake serving on the traditional territory of the Secwepemc, Tsilhqot'in and Dakelh Nations. The Museum is a tribute to Williams Lake and the Cariboo Chilcotin regions. If you are looking to step back in time come on in we would love to open our doors to you. Nestled in the Cariboo Chilcotin, the Museum provides history and displays on the region, local ranching and rodeo heritage, it is also the home to the BC Cowboy Hall of Fame as well as exhibits on Indigenous Peoples, Railway, Mining, Medical, and Forestry just to name a few. Admission is by donation supporting local and provincial heritage. Bethlehem Centre is a cottage-at-the-lake style retreat and conference centre. Ideal for residential groups of 10-40 people, the Centre offers an all-inclusive experience with full meal service and on-site opportunities for quiet reflection and spiritual path-making. Situated on the shores of Westwood Lake at the foot of Mount Benson in Nanaimo, the Centre is a 5-minute walk from a swimming beach, is surrounded by forest, and is connected to miles of hiking trails. The Centre has an outdoor Chartres-style labyrinth, a finger labyrinth museum, a gift shop, a library, an organic vegetable garden and a contained eco-system outdoor pond. The Canadian Museum of Flight is a great family day out. We inspire young people towards a passion for aviation and for science and technology more generally. We tell stories of our rich Canadian aviation history, stories people want to hear and stories people want told. Our hangar is packed with interesting displays and models, fascinating memorabilia and more. Our Museum is a very hands-on facility. Many of our aircraft can be touched, gently. Children can discover aircraft made not only from aluminum, but also from wood and fabric. Weather permitting, several aircraft are open for sitting and dreaming by kids (of all ages). Photo op! Its a classic Being amid the first of its kind and caliber in the Columbia Valley, Mountainside Golf Course looks upon the craggy Rocky Mountain Slopes and down towards the crystal clear Columbia Lake Mother Natures premier backdrop. This course has been testing golfers for over 50 years and continues to entice new and experienced players to its magnificent vistas. With three sets of tees per hole, Mountainside Course caters to a variety of skill levels, offering an even playing field for the whole family.

Facilities: 16 campsites, pit toilets, water hand pump. Location: 5 km west of Rock Creek on Highway 3. Johnstone Creek is a quiet, forested campground just off Highway 3. Whether you are looking for relaxation in a beautiful nature setting or are seeking a well situated roadside stopover 35 minutes west of Osoyoos, this campground is less than 10 minutes from Rock Creek and Kettle River Recreation Area. Campsites are often available for last-minute campers in peak months. Fees are cash only and are self-registration. The park has 38 hectares of mature Douglas fir, larch and spruce trees that provide habitat for woodpeckers and other cavity nesting bird species. White-tailed deer are often seen in the park. Wildlife viewing opportunities can be observed from the short nature loop hike and lookout trail. Open from the May Long Weekend through the second weekend in September.
