Flower and Gardens Festival: Shangrila Farm is a natural paradise garden where you can feel a deep connection to the beauty of nature. 10 acres garden has wonderful view which is surrounded by 200 varieties dahlia flowers, 400 green sculptures, 6 future gardens.

Established in 1959, Covert Farms Family Estate Winery is located in Oliver, BC on 650 acres of benchland. Winemaker Gene Covert is a 3rd generation farmer who worked this land with his father and grandfather. Our certified organic estate vineyards are influenced by the majestic McIntyre Bluff and managed with biodynamic practices. We craft our estate wines with minimal intervention, using natural fermentation when possible to focus on vineyard and fruit. Sharing his passion for West Coast fishing, Lewis Freeman started No Limit Charters in the Summer of 2006. Based out of Victoria's inner harbor, No Limit Charters began as a local small business and has since grown to include clients from around the world. Our fishing charter vessel is fully equipped and meets or exceeds all standards set forth by the Canadian Coast Guard and Transport Canada.

Castlegar Sculpturewalk is an annual exhibition of outdoor sculptures, located on a pleasant walking tour in downtown Castlegar. Viewers are encouraged to vote for their favourite sculpture via ballot - the winner of the People's Choice award is purchased by the City for the permanent collections. All of the artworks are available for sale or lease. Ballots/maps are located in red ballot boxes along the route (the start of the route is at the Kootenay Market (635 Columbia Avenue), though you can begin the walk from anywhere. Ballots/maps are also available at the Castlegar Chamber of Commerce, City Hall, or the Kootenay Gallery.

Set sail aboard The Black Spirit and prepare yourselves for an interactive Pirate Adventure like no other. After being transformed with costumes, and facepaint, join the crew in pirate training and some storytelling, before setting off to search for sunken treasure. Face off against the villainous Pirate Pete with the water cannons, and cheer on our First Mate during the sword fight as he saves the ship from mutiny!
