We are a family style motel situated on Cortes Island, in beautiful British Columbia. Our motel offers ten comfortable and affordable rooms (most rooms have kitchenettes). We welcome families, pets, children, individuals with varying mobility and anyone who wants to experience our beautiful island community. We are situated centrally, close to all amenities and several of our island's most popular hiking trails, beaches & lakes. Picnic tables, BBQs, a campfire pit and hammock are all provided to make your stay comfortable and enjoyable. The historic 1896 Building Vacation Rentals are located right downtown Kaslo, BC facing the Purcell mountain range. This three-storey relic was built in the year 1896 from bricks made in Kaslo. Nearly 130 years old, the building has been fully modernized and updated to provide an extravagant vacation rental experience with endless amenities. Surrounded by vineyards, orchards, mountains and a short distance to the picturesque Similkameen River, the suites and guest house offer all amenities needed for a relaxing get away. We have a 1 Bedroom suite, a 2 Bedroom suite, both complete with large vaulted ceiling kitchens opening onto a private deck with barbecue and seating overlooking our vineyard. The 3 Bedroom guest house has an open spacious floorplan, and multiple outdoor sitting and dining areas. Bicycles are available for borrowing to explore our wonderful valley and Orofino Winery is conveniently located next to the suites.Laundry facilities are available upon request.
