At Whistler's retail "The Shops" at the Westin, Fathom Stone Art Gallery has expanded offering stone art classes daily for locals and visitors. Classes include the 1 hour pendant, 1-2 & 3 hour inukshuk, 3 hour 2-D wildlife, 4 to 6 hour 3-D bear, or 6+ hour freestyle classes. Class participants come and go as they please making their art at their own pace. You get to take home your completed soapstone carving made in the heart of Whistler village. Drop in's welcome from 12 noon to 6 pm, please come see the carving live! (9AM to 10 PM upon appointment 24 hours advance notice) Just bring yourself and lunch/dinner money, take-out food locations are on the village stroll. Beginners feel welcome and safe on our many gentle slopes that make learning fun and easy and more advanced skiers and riders appreciate the challenge and variety of the natural features, gullies, and our professionally sculpted terrain parks. Mt Seymour's Ski and Snowboard School offers a wide variety of programs to meet the needs of new and progressing skiers and riders. The school embodies our proud tradition of safety, fun, and learning. Snowtubing and tobogganing at our Enquist Lodge are exciting and accessible activities that are fun for families and friends of all ages. We also offer an excellent snowshoe program and were recently voted the No.1 snowshoe friendly ski resort in North America. We provide, guided tours, over 10 kilometers of dedicated snowshoe trails, and snowshoe rentals.

Once the home of Rossland's dairy, Red Barn Lodge is well situated for its current role of providing a convenient base for your Summer and Winter outdoor adventures. With wilderness starting at the backdoor and spectacular views of Red Mountain and Mount Roberts from the front, the guesthouse is just 5 minutes by car from Red Mountain Ski Area and Blackjack Cross-Country Ski Area.Rossland's downtown, with its great restaurants and stores, is just ten minutes away on foot. Trails lead from the yard into the backcountry for ski tours, snowshoeing, mountainbiking and walking on the many paths through the surrounding British Columbia Interior Cedar- Hemlock forest. The Trans-Canada Trail runs by just a couple of hundred yards away, through the Red Barn Lodge property. Snowshoes are available to guests.The lodge is well situated in 13 acres of private grounds. Kids love all the space for sledding and building snow sculptures in winter and also the in-ground pool (available in July and August). Tourism BC Approved accommodation.

The main home has an open concept living,dining & kitchen area accessing a full length balcony with a beautiful waterfront view. There are 2 bedrooms each with their own en-suite bathroom and shower. The'Dublin room' has a queen bed and single with patio door access to two balconies with a view. The 'London room' has a queen bed & private outdoor access. Both bedrooms have flat screen tv, as does the living room. Sofa bed sleeps 2. All amenities are near by, as are hiking trails, parks & a winery. There is also a small eco-friendly cabin available with large private deck with a view, small kitchenette, & private bathroom & shower set off the deck.

We offer world class salmon fishing charters from Quadra Island and Campbell River. The waters surrounding Quadra are known as the Salmon Capital of the World. All five species of salmon can be caught from May thru October. This makes a perfect environment for a successful fishing trip. You will fish in comfort out of a 24ft covered cruiser with marine head (toilet).
