Great Bear Lodge offers grizzly bear tours from May to October at a floating lodge in the Great Bear Rainforest. With no other operators in the river system and a maximum of 18 guests, people can feel truly immersed in nature. Tours start with a spectacular seaplane flight from Port Hardy on northern Vancouver Island, and include accommodation, wilderness-gourmet food and bear viewing. Rossland Lions Community Campground is located 1.5 km from downtown Rossland adjacent to Centennial Ball Park. Amenities include clean, modern washrooms, free hot showers, gazebo with large barbecue, 20 camping sites, picnic tables, fire rings and free sani-dump station. We are pet friendly.
