We are located on Mile 462 of the historic Alaska Highway on the shores of beautiful Muncho Lake. As a remote lodge, we pride ourselves in maintaining a high level of service for our guests in the middle of the untouched wilderness of Muncho Lake. Our facilities include a hotel, dining room and lounge, cabins, lakeshore chalets, RV Park, gas station, picnic areas, sauna, playground, floatplane dock, boat ramp and more. All of our facilities are available for our guests including Wifi. We are proud to be able to provide our guests with most of the modern comforts despite being so remote. The Northern Rockies Lodge operates year round without any government subsidies and we were able to build over the last 3+ decades a self-sufficient village in the wilderness for you: We generate our own power, our own water and sewage systems. In addition to providing overnight accommodations for the Alcan travellers, we are also a popular vacation destination for many guests. Our beautiful remote wilderness lodge is located at the shore of Williston Lake, 65 km by boat from Hudson's Hope. Pick up in Hudson's Hope is included. We also provide great guided wilderness adventure for individuals, couples and smaller groups (up to 8 persons). All trips are unique and individual, when it comes to accomodation, activities and duration. We can take you into the Rocky Mountains on horse back in tent camp and spend the days riding and hiking - we can go fishing for huge trouts on the lake - we can explore the area on side-by-sides, and maybe see bears, moose, elk and goats. You can stay at our lodge, in a remote cabin or in a tent camp - it can be as wild as you prefer.During the fall we also do hunting adventure of the big game of British Columbia.We look forward to welcome you as friends and say good bye as family !This is a true wilderness adventure!
