Kayaking is the best way to see Victoria. We specialize in safe, fun and educational kayak tours of Victoria's Harbour and waterfront. Our floating location at Fisherman's Wharf is a 10 minute walk from the cruise ship terminal and 20 minutes from downtown on the scenic boardwalk. We are the closest kayak shop to the Juan de Fuca straight, so when conditions allow, we will paddle along the coast to the kelp forests and an island the harbour seals frequent. Along the way we may see different shore birds like eagles, osprey, oystercatchers, cormorants, and the great blue heron. Starfish, jelly fish and kelp crabs are usually hiding just below the surface. Kayaking is easy and we make it easier by offering paddling jackets, gloves and a bottle of water. Plus on our kayak launch you won't even get your feet wet!

Our welcome mat is within easy walking distance to downtown Williams Lake, the stampede grounds, restaurants, and Scout Island beach and nature trails. The motel features 18 regular and deluxe rooms and 6 large suites and junior suites with decks offering wonderful views of Williams Lake.

Our guests have a passion for horses, want to be out with nature, and have an adventurous side. It is the excitement of crossing a river, riding "the man from snowy river," going thru old growth, river bottoms, crossing slides and alpine meadows, just riding in the mountains and doing it with a strong animal beneath you. Tallheo Cannery Guest House is on the site of salmon cannery that closed down 30 years ago. It's at the bottom of a 3000 metre mountain with a glacier beside a deep fjord. Sensational views across the bay. Garrett the owner picks you up in a boat and it's a five minute ride from Bella Coola to the cannery with its tumbledown buildings. Guests stay in the former ladies' bunkhouse.

We have a large parking lot with easy access for RVs, a wide variety of brochures that cover most places in BC, picnic tables, and a filtered water station. We sell local merchandise and nature books. We have maps to show where you can pan for gold in the Rivers and keep the gold!
