The main lodge is the center of the property where you spend cocktail hour, and dine in our ocean view dining room. Our historic farm setting is also home to a herd of alpacas. While at Sointula Lodge, guests stay in one of our 12 guest rooms, which are either original Cedar cabins or small log cabins built with Vancouver Island Douglas Fir trees. All of our cabins are furnished to feel like a home away from home. Most rooms have two beds in each room and all cabins have a private bath. Comfortable beds are adorned with down comforters and cotton sheets. Cabin extras include cozy robes, Canadian bath amenities, daily room service and turn down services, outdoor seating and ocean views. Fishing Package: Our calm, protected waters offer one of the most unique saltwater fishing experiences on the British Columbia Coast. All five species of pacific salmon, as well as halibut, lingcod, and other bottom fish can be caught just minutes from our dock. Our 4-day and 5-day all-inclusive fishing packages offer access to remote coastal fishing grounds, premium fish processing, luxury accommodations and dining, wine and spirits. Wilderness Package: When booking a wildlife package, youre booking a customizable wilderness escape by private boat. We are located in one of the most concentrated areas of marine wildlife in the world: The Broughton Archipelago. Our experienced guides will take you through the stunning landscape by comfortable, 27ft cabin enclosed, heated vessels to see Humpback, Orca and Minke whales, Pacific White-Sided Dolphins and porpoises, seals, stellar sea-lions, sea-otters, bald eagles, and if youre lucky, elusive populations of coastal wolves and cougars. As we cruise nearby beaches, grizzlies and black bears can be seen feeding along the shoreline, and you cant help but become immersed in the rugged beauty of coastal British Columbia. Along with the abundance of wildlife comes the extraordinary scenery that these animals call home. Hike on remote islands through gigantic western red cedar trees, swim through stunning waterfalls surrounded by 2000 foot granite cliffs, and fall in love with untouched nature in the remote inlets of the Broughton Archipelago. The Wild Turkey Inn is set in a Victorian heritage home, built in 1896, during the time of Rosslands famous Gold Rush. Three blocks from downtown, we are a self-catering lodge with a total of three guest rooms.

Explore town history with the coming of Alcans aluminum smelter in the 1950s, early valley settlement, and Haisla traditional arts and technology. Additional displays feature regional geology, flora, and fauna. The temporary gallery offers changing exhibitions of arts, culture, and history. Visit the Museum Gift Shop for a variety of decorative gifts including, jewelry, and First Nations design merchandise, local artwork, clothing, and more. Second-floor is accessible via lift.

The Steveston Museum building was built in 1905 as Stevestons first bank. Today, discover the people and moments that shaped Steveston Village. Continue into the Japanese Fishermens Benevolent Society Building to discover exhibits that explore history of Steveston's Japanese Canadian community. The Steveston Post Office and the Town Square Park are also located here, continuing to serve as a community hub for the village.

Sea Kayaking is a fun-tastic way to explore and two of British Columbias most unique and scenic kayak destinations, Desolation Sound Marine Park and the Copeland Islands Marine Park. Quite often we will be followed by nosy seals, playful river otters and sometimes even by an impressive sea lion. With a bit of luck we could encounter a pod of Killer Whales or even a Humpback Whale in Desolation Sound or Salish Sea. Throughout the seasons many bird species choose this area to forage or breed. Frequent sightings of bald eagles, various ducks and shore-birds are not uncommon. We focus on SMALL GROUPS and personal attention. We operate a world class fishing charter out of Ucluelet on the West Coast of Vancouver Island in British Columbia. Ucluelet waters provide some of the best Trophy Salmon fishing and Halibut fishing in the world. We offer experienced guides that get you to the fish and help you land them plus ensure you travel in comfort aboard our 30ft and 27ft Proline boats.

Upper Bench believes great wine is made in the vineyard and farms sustainably, without the use of chemicals or pesticides. Upper Bench produces big bold reds and crisp dry whites. All of Upper Bench's wines come from the mature vines on our unique seven-acre vineyard and a select few other vineyards along the Naramata Bench. Upper Bench is also a CFIA registered creamery, using locally sourced, 100% pasteurized Canadian cows milk. All of our cheese are gluten and additive free, and we maintain our Safe Food for Canadians License. We produce washed, bloomy, natural rinds, lactic, and blue cheese, which are purposefully crafted to pair with our wines.

Located in the beautiful setting of Cates Park, this site offers Kayak and SUP rentals run by Deep Cove Kayak - all just 100m from the beach. Same great kayaks, stand up paddleboards, and knowledgeable staff. No experience required - basic instruction and all necessary gear included. Please note that midweek we are open by-reservation.

100% Saanich grown wines. Our family has been farming on this lovely part of the Oldfield valley since the late 1950's; first in strawberries, and then loganberries for the island wineries in the mid 1960's to 70's. We planted our vines in 2003 and opened our tasting room in 2012. Just 15 minutes north of Victoria near Butchart Gardens, we specialize in dry white wines and lively, lightly oaked reds. We grow Ortega - a signature grape for Vancouver Island, as well as Pinot Gris, Gewurztraminer, Pinot Noir (we make a rose and a red from this grape), Millot and Foch, as well as our low alcohol "Splash".
