Full facility RV Park with 22 Full-Hookup RV sites, 3 motel rooms, Horseshoe pit, Sandy Beach, Free Wifi. Motel rooms are not pet friendly, however the RV park is pet friendly with a dog park. Washrooms and coin laundry and shower facilities available to guests. Experience the raw power and beauty of the world-famous Skookumchuck Narrows (Sechelt Rapids). Ride into the heart of the action in the same vessel trusted by the Canadian Coast guard for a truly one-of-a-kind adventure. So much more than a quick trip in and out of the rapids. We go beyond Skookumchuck Narrows to navigate Seal Rock, Hidden Lagoon, East Point Island, and to view ancient Indigenous paintings. Unlike other tours, ours aim to take you where the locals go for a full hour on the water. Not all touring boats are able to safely get this close to The Skook. A trip to the Sunshine Coast isnt complete without visiting Skookumchuck Narrows. Bring the whole family, our tour accommodates ages 5 and up.

The owners and staff are dedicated to making you feel at home. The Armstrong Inn Restaurant is open daily for breakfast, lunch and dining. The cuisine is homestyle and very popular with the locals. Armstrong itself is quite charming and the home of the Interior Provincial Exposition (IPE). The fairgrounds are within walking distance while the city of Vernon is only a 15 minute drive away.

Facilities: Public beach, day-use picnic area, flush toilets, change house. Location: Off Hwy 3, in the town of Christina Lake. Christina Lake has a reputation of being one of the warmest lakes in all of Canada and is very popular with families. With its 300 metres of fine sandy beach, people flock to this swimming destination in the summer months. There is no overnight camping at this location. The closest provincial park campground with overnight accommodation is Gladstone (Texas Creek campground), 10 km east of Christina Lake. Nearby provincial campgrounds that should be able to accommodate last-minute campers in July and August include Boundary Creek, Jewel Lake, and Nancy Greene.

The Big Creek Lodge was established in 1985, in the heart of the Chilcotin Country, a remote region in British Columbia, Canada. Under new management since 2019, Cindy is excited to share an authentic Wild West experience with new and familiar faces! The lodge is located approx. 2-hrs drive from Williams Lake Airport.
