Coastal Charters is a premier recreational salt water fishing and tour company located in beautiful Tofino, British Columbia. We offer competitive rates with high end services and products. Charters could include amazing fishing in conjunction with breathtaking scenery, wildlife viewing and a trip to the Hot Springs Cove.

Established in 1916 as part of the Dominion Experimental Farm, now the Summerland Research and Development Centre, the 6 hectare, Summerland Ornamental Gardens was designed to help residents, choose ornamental plants for their gardens that would be suitable for the dry Okanagan climate. In collaboration with Agriculture Canada, the site is maintained by the non-profit society, the Friends of Summerland Ornamental Gardens. As you stroll through the Gardens you will have views of Okanagan Lake, Giant's Head Mountain and the Trout Creek Trestle railroad bridge, an outstanding engineering feat constructed for the Kettle Valley Railway. Visit the demonstration garden beds and learn principles of water-smart gardening with the diverse Welcome Garden, Xeriscape Garden, Butterfly Garden, Vegetable garden, Canadian Heritage Rose garden, Fairy Garden and more. The gardens are open year-round. Our society gratefully requests a minimum donation $5.00 per person to keep us growing.

Bluewater Adventures offers once in a lifetime wildlife and coastal First Nations cultural experiences. We are a family-owned winegrowers, producing premium small lot red wines and white wines. We grow all our own grapes and produce our wines on site. Visit our tasting room for informative and entertaining tastings and to purchase special wines not available anywhere else. We welcome all visitors and can accommodate guests with special access needs.

Note, the Metzger Collection is TEMPORARILY CLOSED until September 2026. Located in the Resource Centre building on the Columbia Bible College campus, the Metzger Collection is a museum of replicas of artifacts and artwork across the scope of human history and with a particular focus in biblical history. In addition to our regular hours on Wednesdays the Metzger Collection is also Open-on-Demand (see website for details)

Take advantage of our dry snacks or bring outside food in from any place you like.

Designed by Arnold Palmer in 1983 and fully renovated in 2000, the Whistler Golf Club is located in the heart of Whistler Village. Known for our friendly service, the Whistler Golf Club is a walkable, playable golf course the prides itself on being accessible for all. Our newly renovated Practice Facility is in the heart of the village and features 5 target greens, a practice green, full chipping and bunker area and C.P.G.A. Teaching Professionals. Your day will start with a scenic jet boat trip down Quesnel Lake to the Cariboo Mountains Park and into the wetlands of the Mitchell and Penfold Rivers. This eco system is as it has been for all time. Your senses will be rewarded with sights of Salmon swimming in the crystal clear river, beavers swimming with tree branches in their mouth. Rounding a bend in the river you can spot grizzly bears feeding on the returning salmon. Large Giant Ancient Cedar Forests surround you so you have the chance to hike in un-spoiled wilderness. This adventure can be extended for up to a week by staying at our out post cabin at the end of the North arm of Quesnel Lake. The river will be full of red sockeye salmon. You will need to bring a telephoto lens for those shots of a life time. You will see Grizzly cubs with thier mothers as well as big male grizzlies.

Fantastic salmon and halibut fishing is just one part of your experience with us on Vancouver island, BC. You will also have the opportunity to view some of British Columbia's most amazing wildlife. Whales, eagles and black bears are just some of the most common wildlife you will see on your adventure with us!
