Continuously occupied for over 4,300 years, Yuquot village became the capital for all 17 tribes of the Nootka Sound region. Known as the Birthplace of BC where first contact with European explorers and traders occurred 250 years ago. Attracted to the security of the harbour, it became known to explorers as Friendly Cove. As a result, Yuquot developed into an important centre of trade and diplomacy, and it was briefly the site of Spains only military establishment in present-day Canada.

The bakery offers an array of artisanal breads, sweet and savoury pastries, and signature desserts as well as homemade ice cream and a selection of local products from across Northern BC. Saltwater is the essence of life on the North Coast and symbolizes two of the essential three ingredients in traditional bread making – grain, water, and salt – brought to life by natural fermentation through the skilled hands of the craft baker. Saltwater Bakery’s open concept bakeshop is a perfect place to linger and watch the bakers work their craft while enjoying the tastes and aromas of a fresh new bakery experience.

Serendipity Winery is a small, family-run winery nestled in the pristine hills of Naramata. We just opened in June 2011, and have already won 16 awards for our wines (as of July 2012). We specialize in quality, hand-crafted wines with a rich, full-bodied flavour. Our tasting room has a relax, laid back feel we try to let every visitor have a unique experience. Brookside Inn Boutique Hotel offers 6 suites of luxury accommodation next to a working vineyard with a fantastic view of Mt Baker. Brookside Inn is located in Pepin Brook Vineyard Estates, Abbotsford, British Columbia. We are 3 minutes drive from the Mt Lehman Road exit from the Trans Canada Highway. We are 7 minutes drive from the Abbotsford International airport, and a 10 minute drive from the Abbotsford/Sumas border crossing to the United States. We are on the southwest corner of Simpson Road and Chardonnay Lane.

The Grizz Hotel opened in September 2019, in that time it has undergone renovations both inside and out. All the rooms were renovated at the start of 2020 including new bathrooms. We now also serve the Wing n' it franchise in both our onsite pub (the Last Drop pub) as well as our restaurant, where hotel guests can enjoy a 15% discount on food. Rooms come with a fridge, cable TV, air conditioning and WiFi access. Tea, coffee and hot chocolate are available anytime in the lobby. Stoneboat is a family owned artisan winery in Oliver, BC. For over 35 years the family has farmed on the South Okanagan's Lower Black Sage Bench, where rocky, calcareous subsoils, warm days, and cool nights create perfect conditions for growing premium Pinot varietals of distinct character and complexity.
