The Douglas J. Husband Discovery Centre is an accessible space for dialogue and discovery about our communitys past, present, and future. Featuring authentic objects, digital experiences, and fascinating stories, all are welcome to engage with Deltas storied history. Learn by using the touchscreens in our galleries and creating new land forms in our sand table. The Kootenay Raft Co is South Eastern BC's premier summer adventure company. Established in 1998, the KRC employs only experienced guides meeting all provincial and national safety standards to ensure the well being of your friends and family.

The North Island Wildlife Recovery Centre is located in a park-like setting with a peaceful rustic atmosphere. When visiting the centre you will be able to view eagles, several species of owls, falcons, hawks, ravens, and black bears. Rehabilitating eagles can be viewed through one way glass in the largest flight enclosure of its kind in Canada. The Centre's mandate is the rehabilitation of injured and orphaned native wildlife, with a focus on raptors and black bears. GUIDED TOURS: are available for groups of 15 or more. HOURS OF OPERATION: 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. 7 days a week. ENTRANCE FEES: $15.00.00 adults, $6.00 children aged 3-12, plus applicable taxes.

The Qualicum Beach Museum chronicles the social history of Qualicum Beach including First Nations, early pioneers and 'local characters'. It is also home to a paleontology exhibit and fossil collection renowned for its scientific and research value, as well as the Powerhouse, a brick and steel heritage building with exhibits about power and energy. The museum maintains an extensive archive of local historic documents, photographs and artefacts and responds to inquiries from the general public.

Corcelettes Estate Winery, located on 150 acres in the Similkameen Valley, blends passion, precision and science to craft expressive, small lot premium wines. Led by Charlie and Jesce Baessler, the skilled team at Corcelettes is committed to creating exceptional wines and experiences. In history the word Corcelettes described a royal garden; this hasnt changed with the teams continued attention to the land and precision practices in both the vineyard and cellar. We place greatest care in our viticulture and believe in making our wine on the vine. Cultivating our estate vineyard and working closely with our local growers, no short cuts are ever taken in finding balance between viticulture, our environment, and winemaking. Our first vintage was in 2011, consisting of 200 cases. We currently craft 5000 cases of wine per year, with plans of each future vintage growing in production size.
