The Sooke Region Museum & Visitor Centre is a community museum that explores the human and natural heritage of the region from Sooke to Port Renfrew. The museum also operates the local visitor information centre for the region. We have both exhibits in the main museum building and around the grounds. In the Summer we are open 7 days a week. In the off season we are closed Mondays and most Stat holidays. Starting the first Thursday in June, and running until first Thursday in September, we host a night market from 5pm to 8pm and museum stays open during this event.We also usually are closed over Christmas and the first week of January. The museum holds various special event during the year, has a gift shop with local arts & crafts, plus can do special meals for pre-booked tour groups.

Sharing his passion for West Coast fishing, Lewis Freeman started No Limit Charters in the Summer of 2006. Based out of Victoria's inner harbor, No Limit Charters began as a local small business and has since grown to include clients from around the world. Our fishing charter vessel is fully equipped and meets or exceeds all standards set forth by the Canadian Coast Guard and Transport Canada.

In the heart of the planets only inland temperate rainforest, board one of our specially designed boats for this smooth but exciting River Safari. Explore up to 12 kilometers of the spectacular Grizzly Bear Valley where the bears decide when and for how long we stop along the way! As you are travelling through glacier-fed rivers and lakes and going where it seems no boat has gone before, we hope to see wildlife among the river banks. In addition to an information-packed narrative, guides will point out glaciers and many waterfalls toppling from the surrounding snow-capped mountains. Established in 2016, the Audain Art Museum is a leading arts organization founded upon the major philanthropic gift of Michael Audain and Yoshiko Karasawa. Located in Whistler, British Columbia and designed by the internationally-renowned firm Patkau Architects, the AAM boasts a comprehensive Permanent Collection of the provinces most celebrated artists. Exemplifying the richness of cultural difference in Canada, the collection takes visitors on a transformative visual journey from the late 18th century to present. Highlights include hereditary Haida Chief James Harts 'The Dance Screen (The Scream Too),' an exceptional collection of historical and contemporary Indigenous masks, the largest permanent display of paintings by Emily Carr, and key examples of the Vancouver photo conceptualism movement. In addition, the Museum hosts dynamic Special Exhibitions from around the world.

Vaseux Lake Provincial Park is a popular roadside campground that provides excellent fishing opportunities for bass, trout and carp. This park boasts beautiful lakeside sites. It is conveniently located on Highway 97 between OK Falls and Oliver. It is minutes away from amenities and popular tourist spots. Viewing platforms at Vaseux Wildlife Centre offer excellent nature sighting opportunities for birds, aquatic life, mountain goats and big horn sheep. Park users at Vaseux Wildlife Centre should use caution as poison ivy is common in the area. Open from the first weekend in April through Thanksgiving Weekend.
