Alpine Helicopters have been providing safe and professional helicopter services since 1961. We operate a fleet of 32 light, intermediate and medium helicopters for a range of services from sightseeing and executive transfers for tourism and corporate customers as well as rescue, fire fighting, aerial film work and heli skiing. Our Visitor Centre is at the gateway to the Thompson Okanagan region of British Columbia. Our staff are welcoming and provide knowledgable travelling advice for the surrounding area. The Centre itself is the perfect rest stop, offering magnificent views of Okanagan Lake, plenty of parking space, a picnic area, pristine washrooms, free WiFi and EV charging stations. We are wheelchair accessible and our gift shop features Indigenous works & local artisanal goods, in addition to snacks, drinks, ice cream and coffee. We offer free information and resources on activities and resources for the Thompson Okanagan region and other parts of British Columbia.

Just minutes from downtown Vancouver, this mountainous park offers a variety of forested hiking trails as well as panoramic views over Vancouver.

Both attractions open 10am to 7pm every day. Night GOLF until 10:00pm every Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. Minigolf! An 18-hole course, among mature trees and meandering waterways. $18/person. Groups of 4 or more, $15/person. Go-karts! Riders must be 10 years old and 54" tall to drive a single kart. Shorter racers can ride in a double kart. $18/kart.

Open May to October Ride on an operating Heritage Railway. We are open Saturdays and Sundays May through October, from 9.30am until the last train returns at 4.00pm. Come out and see what we have to offer and go for a ride on the train.

We are open for digging trips. Canada's first precious opal mine is operated by Opal Resources Canada Inc. Arrange a day trip to go opal digging to unearth your own treasure. Advanced booking required for digging trips.

Vernons only 18 hole, mid-length course; a great place for beginners and seasoned veterans to hone their game. Featuring a wide range of yardages, you will need all your clubs to tackle this jewel . So grab your clubs & your friends and enjoy!

Shannon Lake Golf Club, playing among towering pines and moderate elevation changes, is a true test to golfers of all abilities. After golf, Courses Restaurant in the new clubhouse (2015) offers tasty pub fare selections. Shannon Lake is located in West Kelowna, a short distance from the Coquihalla Connector. If you are traveling from the Lower Mainland region for a Kelowna golf package, this is a great facility to visit at the beginning or end of your Kelowna golf vacation.
