Anuttara Ashram is tucked away in the sacred mountains of the Nass Valley, in the Nisga'a Nation. With 100 acres of forest, water falls, cliffs and sitting right next to the Nass River we provide a quiet oasis for anyone seeking to retreat into the stillness. We provide 3 healthy, vegetarian/vegan meals a day along with guided yoga and meditation.

Professionally guided, all inclusive, day- and multi-day kayak adventures in Desolation Sound, the Copeland Islands and Okeover Inlet. Sea Kayaking is a fun-tastic way to explore and two of British Columbias most unique and scenic kayak destinations, Desolation Sound Marine Park and the Copeland Islands Marine Park. Quite often we will be followed by nosy seals, playful river otters and sometimes even by an impressive sea lion. With a bit of luck we could encounter a pod of Killer Whales or even a Humpback Whale in Desolation Sound or Salish Sea. Throughout the seasons many bird species choose this area to forage or breed. Frequent sightings of bald eagles, various ducks and shore-birds are not uncommon. We focus on SMALL GROUPS and personal attention. An in-home gallery and studio featuring the work of multi-media artist Val van der Poel. Visitors will see a variety of original art and, if they want they can have a mini-lesson in watercolour, acrylics, paper quilling or Alphabet Art. The artist also offers private and group lessons as well as Watercolour Painting Parties - please book ahead.

Touring the waters around Gwaii Haanas National Park Reserve, Haida Heritage Site and National Marine Conservation Area on Haida Gwaii since 1988 has earned us a growing reputation for providing fun, educational and safe wilderness adventures at affordable prices.
