The Chinatown Storytelling Centre is the first permanent space of its kind in Canada with programming, exhibits, and interactive kiosks sharing personal stories about people and places of significance in Canadian history. The Contemporary Art Gallery (CAG) is an independent, non-profit public art gallery and one of Canadas leading venues for contemporary art. Offering free access to everyone, we work with artists from Canada and around the world to produce exhibitions, off-site projects, residencies, learning, outreach, community engagement programs, events and publications. Each of these interdependent strands of programming varies in scale, duration and location to challenge how and where we might engage with contemporary visual art.

Historic site with guided tours of original roadhouse (hotel) built in 1860. Over 20 original buildings and many pieces of old farm equipment. The Traditional Indigenous Village has displays of early food storage, shelters, and traditions. Stage Coach rides, daily demonstrations, panning and all is included with your admission. An Artisan Gallery featuring unique works made by local artisans and restaurant with large patio are also in the main reception building.

The Nikkei Internment Memorial Centre is dedicated to preserving and sharing the history of the internment of over 22,000 Japanese Canadians during the Second World War. The Nikkei Internment Memorial Centre opened its doors in 1994 as an initiative from the New Denver Kyowakai Society to commemorate and honor the stories of over 22,000 Japanese Canadians who were stripped of their civil rights, labelled "enemy aliens" and uprooted from their coastal homes during the Second World War. Located on the site of a former internment camp, the original buildings, period artifacts, interpretive displays, and Heiwa Teien garden designed by the renowned Roy (Tomomichi) Sumi, chronicle this extraordinary episode in Canadian history.
