We are a little farm based in Lantzville (seven minutes north of Nanaimo) on beautiful Vancouver Island, British Columbia. We are Nanaimo area's family destination for fun! Stop by and visit the adorable miniature animals in our petting farm, and peruse the delightful home decor shop on site where you can pick up a t-shirt or a locally made soap! Pick up a farm-grown bee-friendly hanging basket, or bring a picnic lunch to enjoy outside. We offer birthday parties, workshops, and often host concerts. Tidy modern washrooms on site. Often referred to as the best place to stay on the Alaska Highway, the Northern Rockies Lodge is the newest and most impressive hotel in the Liard River (hot springs), Toad River and Muncho Lake region. Situated in Jim Hadgkiss Park, overlooking the Fraser River, the museum collects, preserves, and shares the culture and stories of historic Maple Ridge. Operated by the Maple Ridge Historical Society, the Maple Ridge Museum and Haney House Museum are free community museums located in historically significant buildings in the old district of Haney.
