Conveniently located along Highway 3, Boundary Creek campground is a well situated overnight stop and popular for those passing through the Boundary Region. Boundary Creek is a first come, first serve park and often has spots available, even during peaks periods. A slagheap and crumbling stack near the park mark the site of the historic BC Copper Co. smelter, which employed 400 people between 1901 and 1918. The quaint town of Greenwood is minutes away and offers many amenities, including restaurants, cafes and a pub. Open from early May through mid September.

Trails lead from the yard into the backcountry for ski tours, snowshoeing, mountainbiking and walking on the many paths through the surrounding British Columbia Interior Cedar- Hemlock forest. The Trans-Canada Trail runs by just a couple of hundred yards away, through the Red Barn Lodge property. Snowshoes are available to guests.The lodge is well situated in 13 acres of private grounds. The SS Sicamous is the largest surviving paddle wheeler in Canada. It is open as a heritage site, museum and wedding venue. Launched in 1914, the ship provided a vital means of transport to remote communities on the shores of Okanagan Lake. The SS Sicamous is operated by the SS Sicamous Society: a non-profit organization that works to protect the marine heritage of the Okanagan.Funds from your admission go directly to the restoration of the SS Sicamous, and the other heritage ships in our care.
